  1. I like ubisoft, but they are literately digging a hole, and annoying their customers. It's a shame really. I still play watch_dogs. I hope ubisoft get their act together soon.
  2. I would encourage you to learn how to replace a CPU cooler. It's not difficult. If you are unsure... there are plenty of guides out there, you can also watch videos, and give it try. If you end up doing it wrong, learn for what you are doing and try again. If you use common sense and be careful you won't damage anything. You will be more satisfied when you've achieved your goal and learnt from it.
  3. To answer your first question: it depends on which thermal paste you use... some are conductive and applying too much can be dangerous, others might be safer, but either way you never want to apply too much, it doesn't help with cooling either. If you accidentally apply too much you should simply remove it.
  4. Clean with isopropyl alcohol using a lint free cloth.
  5. Powerline vs wireless... It depends. In short.... good wireless equipment within good range > powerline > old or low end wireless equipment
  6. You have a point when it comes to the durability of SATA connectors, however like @Enderman said, it's not something that was designed to be plugged in and out on a regular basis, most people don't. If you constantly need to plug in and swap drives you should use external methods like USB, eSATA, thunderbolt, etc.
  7. I think it's pretty simple... G-Sync provides a variable refresh rate, this eliminates tearing and stuttering while also reducing lag. Now a persistent backlight causes motion blur this is because the pixels in a LCD panel don't switch instantly meaning that in the time it takes for them to switch you will see perceived motion blur. ULMB is supposed to reduce that by turning the backlight on and off. This might be an oversimplification, but I think this should help to clear things up a bit.
  8. I looked into this a while back, I think the difference is the packaging.... I think the normal one comes in a full retial package while the business one comes in a simpler package with fewer items. I could be wrong.
  9. It's a little outdated at this point, it's not really worth it expect maybe if you don't care about the new features and manage to find a one that for a really low price, but it would have to significantly cheaper for it to be worth while.
  10. Hi Marvin. You will need to get a z97 motherboard if you plan to make full use of that CPU. Which one? It mostly doesn't really matter, all of them perform well with the main differences being the features they support, get the one with the features you need at a comfortable price point. In terms of theme.... I'm not aware of any black and green z97 motherboards, however there are many black motherboards that you could use, you can then add an reference nvidia GPU that has a green glowing logo, plus maybe some RAM with green heatsinks, green led lighting effects, stuff like that.
  11. I believe stock Android is only really available on Nexus and google play edition devices. If you want a stock android experience on a different phone you will have to find a ROM that has no extra features or modifications, these are usually labelled as AOSP ROMs. Wait... you've mentioned that you have an S4 right? They also made a google play edition version of that... you might be able to flash the google play edition ROM. Quick search result: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2544474 Hope this helps.
  12. Wipe and flash a stable version before putting the blame on cyanogenmod.
  13. In general I think asking people to like, favourite, share, subscribe and stuff like that makes no sense. I think people will naturally do those things if they want to, asking them to do it in every video is unnecessary in my opinion. Having said that.... it doesn't really bother me, I still think it's unnecessary, but I don't mind it if a YouTuber decides to briefly say "don't forget to subscribe" at the end of every video. I do see some value in what Linus is doing when he started to promote another video or an upcoming project in his videos... I see how that can be interesting for someone who comes across one of his videos and isn't subscribed yet that might lead them to see more content and eventually develop an interest in the channel, giving someone a reason to subscribe seems to be more effective than just telling them to do it.
  14. My favourite item in this bundle is the case and PSU, I like the design.
  15. I believe it's the touchscreen element a phone. It's what detects all the touch gestures. If the phone is under warranty then send it back to manufacture to get it repaired. If it's not then you might want to consider replacing the digitizer and screen. There are many guides online on how to do this.
  16. Solution: Turn it off, then turn it on again. Method: Hold the power button until it shuts off, then press it again to turn you phone back on.
  17. You should be fine. You have plenty of bandwidth for even a three way configuration without any significant performance hits.
  18. You will need a SATA power cable and SATA data cable. The same thing you use to connect any SATA based HDD or SSD, nothing specific to the 850 pro.
  19. lol. I need to go even further than that... and down a set of stairs too.
  20. It's not worth paying more for factory overclocked cards, simply because you can easily achieve the same results or even higher if you overclock yourself. The only exception is when you know that the chips have been specifically binned at a higher level, but those cards are often a fair bit more expensive than the rest.
  21. congrats, that sure is a lot of posts.
  22. I think power efficiency is key with the 900 series, and features like MFAA and VXGI seem very interesting.
  23. wow, your profile is quite... ehm... overwhelmingly lively.
