  1. Hello! I was wondering if the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (CMW16GX4M2C3200C14) was a Samsung B-Die. From what I know is that most 3200 that gets to 14 CL are B-die, is that true..? I'm planning on buying the Ryzen 2700x, does it still benefit from B-die..? Thanks in advance.
  2. How do I set the wireless network the router should connect to..?
  3. Welll... My plan was to use this router and my 15ft cable, since I don't have their signal near my PC
  4. Thanks, guess I'll have to manage for now, not gonna mess with my friend's router, he still needs to return it to the ISP.. But I would like to know where I could get such a firmware...
  5. Hello people of LTT..! I'm recently moved to a new house, and there is no internet connection yet, so I'm waiting for the ISP technician to come and do his voodoo magic to get me plugged in again, I've been using my phone's internet for the past week now, but today I got an old-ish DSL router that I thought I could set up to receive internet via wireless from my neighbor and send it over to my PC over cable, but it seems that all I can do is to set it as AP, where it gets internet via cable and sends it out as WiFi... Is there a way to do what I'm trying to do here, or is a lost case..? The router is a D-Link DSL-225 (The interface is the classic orange/gray one) Any help would be greatly appreciated..!
  6. I've found this little thing https://benzhaomin.github.io/bdiefinder/ According this this, this 3200 16 CL is not B-die, though this tool seems to be handy.. I've checked some of the things there and the stuff that do show on Amazon are closer to the 300$ mark than the 200$ mark... And that's before shipping.. *actually I've found this little guy, seems kinda good F4-3200C14D-16GFX
  7. I know, I wanna get some B-die, and if I can get it at RGB, why not? Any specific modules you know of? Since there was only SKU he actually talked about was the F4-3200C14D-16GTZKY..
  8. Hello, I'm about to buy the 2700X, and I wanted to pair it up with a good RAM module, I'm looking for 2x8 sticks, I'm planing on some sweet RGB sticks that could work with the Asus Aura Sync to fit the mobo (going for the overkill Hero 7) and my 1080 Ti Strix, I want some RAM that I could OC for good results, the RAM I was looking at was the G.Skill Trident Z (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR) since 3200 seems not to bad, but I'm not sure if I should try to get a lower clock with some higher latency module, this is basically my budget (200$-ish)Anyway, I would like to know if there is any good specific module I could get that could be OC'ed pretty well (My guess is that a B-die is the best..?), if you know any Aura Sync modules that'll be really awesome. Thanks in advanceKermitFTW
  9. The thing is that I have no idea where to find the ring clock.. Where is it? how could it be called?
  10. Hello again LTT..! I'm trying to OC my 4670k by following ProKoN's guide, and after figuring out what went wrong with my settings (I've fiddled with some automatic settings and adjusted some default stuff that didn't seem right to me), after hitting a stable clock of 4.1 on 1.26v I've decided to go on with the next step, to find a stable bus ring clock, so I've set the bus ring voltage to 1.26v and started looking for the clock setting but with no luck, so I've asked my good friend Google (which so far helped me a lot by telling me that VRIN is infact VCCIN) but with no success... After looking at XTU I saw that the cache voltage was chabged, than later on I've changed the uncore clock and saw that it changed the cache clock as well, my questions here are: A. Is that cache/uncore ratio the same ring bus that I was looking for? B. Are those default automatic settings things I needed to change to manual (per core friquancy, automatic voltage settings etc..)? Thanks in advance. KermitFTW
  11. Ok, I'll try that... Right now It's not stable on 1.29v at 4.4GHz... But back to topic, will the 650 I own right now be enough for the current CPU's (Ryzen 5/7 or Coffe Lake)? BTW, Right now I have 3 HDDs, 1 SSD, 7 case fans, H100i AIO cooler, K95 Keyboard Some cheap TT mouse, a webcam and studio mic (ATR2100)... If that makes any difference... And besides, I have a Corsair case, RAM, cooler and keyboard.. All that I'm missing to be a fully fledged Corsair fanboy is a PSU.. P.S. I'm not into buying stuff that I don't need... I think...
  12. Probably my CPU is bad OC'er.. Gotta see how to make it stable..
  13. Welllll........ At 1st I thought so as well, but according to a PSU calculator it seems that the 650W that I have is barely enough for it... BUT this is why I'm here, for you guys to tell me if I'm right or wrong and what should I do with my life... When it comes to PSU and power consumption I know less than Jon Snow...
  14. Hello people of LTT! Long story short, bought a new GPU (Strix 1080 Ti) as a part of a PC upgrade I'm going through (in a number of phases), right now I'm using a 4670K CPU and my current PSU (Seasonic X-650) can't handle both the GPU and the CPU's OC (it can however handle the GPU and the stock clock on the CPU), so I want to get a new PSU to both be able to OC my CPU and to be future prof for my CPU, mobo and RAM upgrade. I REALLY want to get a Corsair PSU that is compatible with the Corsair Link (because it's freaking AWESOME!), Right now I'm looking at the RM850I, the difference between this and the 750 one is like 20$ at the shop I'm looking at. Any thoughts? Any suggestions? Any random GIFs of cats? Thanks in advance KermitFTW
  15. I'll try to get a 850w PSU with Corsair Link compatibility, since it has the wattage monitoring feature along side all the neat Link stuff, probably the Corsair 850w 80+ gold rm850i, which seems to be more than enough to be future proff, for when I'll get a new CPU.... On that note, since my CPU is kinda old, I'm planning on getting a new CPU in the near year, a 850W PSU will be solid one for this? I'm sorry, but when it comes to PSUs and power consumption I'm totally lost..
