  1. Budget (including currency): 1100 euro Country: Belgium Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: warzone, rdr, cyberpu,.. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello guys, At the moment it's quite expensive to build a pc in Belgium, as the prices for gpu's are very high. That's why I was looking to a prebuild pc. The one I was looking at, was the pc you can find in the link below. https://www.dragoncomputers.eu/gamerPCs-vanaf-1000/Firebreather -Lava-I9066 To me it looked like a decent gaming pc for the money atm. All the componets looked quite good, exept the psu ( I think). What do you guys think? Good value for money atm? Thank you in advance.
  2. So.. My graphics card died (R9 290). And as you know, prices are high and availability are low for a new graphic cards. Which makes it almost impossible to find a remplacement ... At the moment I have not been able to find a reasonable priced graphics card, which makes that I haven't played a game in two months with friends. Especially that last part ennoys me (not been able to play online game with friends). Because of that I thought it might be a good idea to buy a PS4 (as I mostly play warzone with friends, and wrz is crossplatform). So, that I can at least play some games, and maybe in year upgrade the full computer. Now my question is, is this a good idea? And what is your experience/ opinion on playing warzone with mouse and keyboard on PS4? Taking in account that I never have owned a console before. Thank you in advance.
  3. i already changed the cooling paste, the card is running at 86°c at +-87% fan speed if it has a good day. It is just a horrible cooled card (and loud). But i will have a look at the second hand market as you said. Thanks!
  4. hi readers So, atm I have an amd asus r9 290 dcu2. Because it runs all the time very hot and loud, i am considering selling it and buying a new gpu. What would be a good upgrade? I would sell my gpu in the hope I get 200 euro for it, and would invest an 100 euro extra for a new one, so 300 euro total. I live in belgium. Thanks in advance. pc atm intel i5 4690 (non k) msi z87 r9 290 16gb ram corsair cs650m watt
  5. hmmmm, well that's unfortunately..
  6. It's for windows 10. So there isn't any way this can be done? But it used to work on a dell xps 8500 desktop?
  7. Hi, So I have a spare PM830 msata 32gb lying around. I want to use it for caching. So in other words, assisting my hard drive for faster boot and such.. For this to work, I need to install the Intel rapid storage driver. Upon install it says 'platform not supported'. And yes, on closer inspection I see that this SSD is not listed on the supported listed for this program. But the things is, this ssd used to work as a cache disk in on an old dell XPS 8500 desktop. Is there any possibilty that i can make it work, with the my computer with the following specs?: Intel i5 4690 asus dcu2 r9 290 seagate hdd 1TB msi z87-g41 pc mate Thank you in advance
  8. The new Razer Blade 14, could definitely use a new computer for school ( and for gaming of course )
  9. Okay, will upgrade to windows 10. I wanted windows 7, because it is a computer for my mom. And her old computer had windows vista. So i though it would be an easy upgrade for her. Now i will have to explain everything again to her... But anyway thank you for your time
  10. Okay, thank you for your time, I appreciated it alot. Will try your windows 10 suggestion any chance you have a working link ? I can't open the link. Thanks anyways
  11. i can't disable UEFI, my option are UEFI and Legacy+UEFI. And where can i donwload windows 10?
  12. I just read the manual of the motherboard, and i says '' due to chipset limitation, during the windows 7 installation process, USB optical drives and USB pen drives e not supported '' So i don't think your solution will work.. but i will give it a try
  13. Okay, well i just read the manual of the motherboard, and i says '' due to chipset limitation, during the windows 7 installation process, USB optical drives and USB pen drives e not supported '' ... well fuck me.. So installing windows 7 from a USB key is not going to work. But why doesn't a hard drive with windows 7 on, work when i plug it in the computer?
  14. Okay will try that, and what do you mean with ''usb driver injection in the install drive might be needed" ?
  15. Hi guys, I build a new computer, with these specs: be quiet! Pure Power 9 300W, 300 Watt Crucial 8 GB DDR4-2133 Intel® Core i3-6100 socket 1151 Western Digital Blue, 1 TB MSI H110M ECO, socket 1151 I want to install windows 7 on this computer (the ISO is on a USB key). When i am trying to install it says: "A required CD/DVD driver is missing" After, looking on the internet, I found this 2 possible cause/solutions. - Using different usb port - or the ISO is corrupted on the usb key. I have tryed other usb ports, and I still can't install windows 7. The ISO on the usb key works, because I tryed installing windows 7 on the hard drive on another computer and it works. But when I insert the hard drive (with windows 7 on) in the computer (as listed above). Windows 7 on the hard drive stops working... And I have already update the mobo to the newest UEFI/ BIOS. Does anyone know how I can install windows 7 on the hard drive, and fix my issue? I have run out of ideas... Any help would be appreciated. PS. sorry for any spelling mistakes..
