You know one of those stories you hear/read about and giggle but never expect to actually happen in your lifetime? I got lucky last week.
 
And old family friend(by old I mean grandpa old) gave my dad a call asking if I could come over to have a look/decide which laptop he should get now considering his old one(barely 2 years) stopped working.
When arriving at his place, I met the salesman/repairman or w/e the heck he was that claimed that the old laptop was done for saying something in it got fried.
 
I decided to have a look at the laptop and wondered how he could determine that considering he didn't open the thing, but indeed, it was showing no sign of life at all. While I was poking around with it, the tech guy was sweet talking the old man into getting some state of the art laptop far beyond his staying on the internet and watching youtube needs but hey... who am I right?
 
Then I noticed not even the light of the adapter was glowing showing it had power, so took it out of curiosity and placed it in a different electrical socket... after a few seconds, tara bim tara boem there was a light on the adapter and the laptop saying it was charging. It's alive! Sadly enough, I got pretty pissed at this tech guy BS'ing the old man that it was broken and trying to shuv an overexpensive thing in his hands. So yeah, end well all well, for now I guess. Except for the need to fix that broken electrical socket.
 
It's sad how people try to take advantage of people who don't know much/anything of a certain subject, disgusting. I am wondering, even now whether or not that tech guy knew the laptop was ok and it might've been the electrical socket or not...
Either way, seeing the old man's joy that his laptop was working again really made my day.

I'd rather not have any. But it'll depend on how much I love my to-be-wife and how badly she wants children.
 

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
I really liked this game, have yet to come upon a single other person that played and liked it as well.
 

That is seriously one of the most underrated games ever made, yet it blows every single RPG I've ever played when it comes in terms of combat. It's like an RPG with DMC/Darksiders combat, and that's a great thing. As it happens, I'm a huge fan of Salvatore as well.
Sad that the studio went down.

Pro:
- beautiful case, very clean looking
- easy to build in and stuff away your cables.
 
Con:
- pretty bad airflow, choked front and top
- the side window is the worst, very easily scratched and a true dust magnet
 
All and all, I'm happy with it.

Considering both you and I own this case.... The internet is more than right in this case.
This case is the definition of bad airflow.
So no reason for you to behave like this towards TheHappyJarhead.

I've changed every stock fan there was in this case with NF Noctua's and added an extra 2 Noctua's at the top of the case, except for the rear one(corsair AF140) so I've done my part on trying to improve the airflow in it. (Mostly because those stock fans were far too loud for my taste.)
 
Ofcourse the air is moving inside the case, but far too little. What I mean by bad airflow is that the internal parts are being choked for more air(the air isn't moving well enough in and out of the case), which results in quite a fair bit of higher temperatures for the CPU and GPU than other cases. 
 
I own the H440 for a little over 3 years and have been playing with other cases during that time, when comparing those temperature differences and at which rpm I need to have the fans run, it's to cry for. But personally it doesn't annoy me enough to not love this case, but that doesn't mean I won't acknowledge that this case does suffer from bad airflow.
 
 

Apple and Razer are strong contenders for me.
Not saying they're bad products, but a lot of people that use them and "advertise" those products annoy me to no end. Proclaiming their product is simply the best because it's from said company with no valid information to back up their claims. Thinking they're a superior race or something because they use said products.
 

I can only offer my own experience as an example:
To this day I cannot will myself to play The Witcher 2 for much more than the prologue, and I have tried repeatedly. With that in mind I had the same reservations about The Witcher 3, but found it's combat to be far more tolerable. It's still sluggish but it's way more "modernized" and action-oriented. And while everyone hates when I make this comparison, I feel like they took a lot of cues from the dodging/blocking mechanics in Dark Souls.

For once, a non-audio related purchase, supporting OPM in my little way. Vol 2 has been sold out, so I've asked the shop to call me when new stock of Vol comes. Love the webcomic, manga and anime series!

Patents should be banned? You do realize that pretty much nobody will research/develop new stuff anymore as any other lazy bastard can just use their hard work without consequences.
Patents give corporations an incentive to create new things which in turn will make them money.

I'm rather surprised seeing so much negativity towards Windows 10, I personally am glad to have upgraded from Windows 7.

Climate change:
More freak weather than every before, changing or unreliable seasons, droughts, floods, melting ice caps, etc etc.

And although so may say "so what if the climate is changing", an easy comparison should be, can we support the population of human beings when more of the land becomes desert? As I am aware its a reality facing the east coast right now in the US.

But, it extends well beyond that, as climates change, its not just us at risk from freaky weather, but entire food chains and other species we rely on.
Lets take fishing, cod, haddock etc. Their main food stuff is plankton, tiny organisms they as good as swim around and gobble up. BUT, with a slight raise in temps for those tiny things have made the water less "viscous". Aka its less like swimming in treacle for them. And the problem with this is they can now outswim the predator!
So fish stocks (our food) that feed on this (their food) are falling.

Then there is what Nomy has touched on, the seasons make farming and growing crops more tricky.
Some of the plants, including veg in my little garden sown at the end of autumn are sprouting in the middle of winter here! They are not supposed to start sprouting till spring!
Is this a big deal?
Yes!
They will literally rot with the wet weather.

There are thousands and thousands of studies, from wildlife to food, forestry to water, and chemistry (did you know the Oceans are soaking up some of that CO2? GREAT some say,,, but what it really means? the oceans are becoming acidic, think corals and other habitats being destroyed as well as soft rock coastline).

And all saying that the way we are changing the world, is dangerous!

With the winter we're having this year(or rather NOT HAVING) I can honestly say that the climate change is as bad as those treehuggers claim it to be.
It's like spring in Belgium right now. There are still damn mosquitos, flowers growing that shouldn't grow till spring.
Oh and let's not forget... I no longer have a good excuse to wear my ugly sweater since it's anything but cold this winter.

Bought it, tried it, refunded it. I truly despised it, the combat felt incredibly slow to the point I wasn't willing to bear it for longer.
