Go ahead and update the 10240 build, it's on Windows Update already for a few days

An amp is absolutely needed. Fortunately almost all consumer sound producing devices already got an amp built-in in them. PC onboard audio, portable music player, discman, phone, etc, all got their own built-in amp.

So the right question is not 'is an amp needed?', because headphones definitely need an amp, but rather 'is my existing amp adequate?'. Once you see it that way, the answer becomes much much simpler. 'Is my lemon tea sweet enough, or should I add more sugar?'. Surely you can answer that yourself, which is like the one suggested above, try it first. If it's not sweet enough, it's not too late to add sugar afterward....

    On your PC's mobo, no.

On your phone, maybe, depending on how loud you like it. On my iphone 5c they will work if the volume is cranked up to the maximum. But tehy lack some of the "body" that you get from more power.
That being said there aren't many amps for mobile devices, and they tend to be awkward.

See for yourself. Try them before buying your amp, no need to spend money pre-emptively if it wont make a difference.

jbgoedebeste got a reaction from randy hutajulu in Back-up or nah?
I have succesfully installed Windows 10 inside Virtualbox, but I am going to try dual booting between Windows 8.1 and 10.

Since I've succesfully installed it in Virtualbox, I feel pretty confident to dual boot it.

Should I take my time to back-up my storage, which is about 400 gb on my 1tb hard drive?

Or is there basically no risk in doing this?

Yes it is legit! I have bought BF3 and Payday 2 and it worked out fine. My friend bought Windows 8.1 on it and it works just fine. Just make sure to buy the right one, right location, and make sure the seller has good reviews or buy directly from G2A!

Also, make sure to keep the G2A protection enabled so if anything does go wrong, they will help.

When you buy the W8.1, theyll only give you the key, then you go to this site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only

And click, download windows 8.1... Then it will ask for a product key, and you enter the G2a key they gave you, and everything goes well!
