its universal. I use it to cool my 980 ti with a corsair h50. It will even support the new 10 series because they use the same pcb layout. 

I do see you're point however in where I live Hard drives and SSD's aren't cheap at all. when my WD black died I sent it for RMA and after a week they gave me a brand new one. sure my files were gone however at least I didn't pay another 100 dollars for it. yes WD Blacks in my local shop in the city cost around 100 dollars.

While I adore the first two Fable games, and love Black and White, I can see why.

Not too sure about that brand but if it is capable of the full 600W you need then it would be good, just be sure to include things like monitors, peripherals and networking equipment.

No, it will need to support whatever max load you have.
So if your system truly pulss 500w (looking at it, it probably pulls 300-400w)
you would need a 1000va/500w UPS

Basically if your system is at full load it will trigger the overcurrent protection on the UPS, but if your not doing very high load work it will be sufficient for those kinds of situations. Ideally you want ones that can at least take the full load of your system.

hi duke! let me tell you a similar story, I had a power outage a month ago and this is what happened. My windows profile got corrupted and it wasn't allowing me to login, My Sony TV got a burnt Power board, and I had the same problem as yours my PC keeps doing disk repairs.  I've tried a lot of solutions just so I can fix it and the only solution I came up with was really a "reformat". now you could try doing a Windows repair via a windows 10 boot drive ( which I did but it didn't work).

But how the hell can we know if that benchmark score is ok when it shows custom preset. Have him run 3dmark or something standard you can actually compare to. Besides most of the reviews of it are going to be massively out of date for the newer driver updates.

yes. Lol I tried playing 1440p with an i5 2500k and a gtx 970 I'll be honest Couldn't get 60 FPS at ultra But I was getting Reasonable frame rates at high settings

Well you can base your estimates on thing around the desk, like the case.
Which after a little bit of Googling is suppose to be about this big:

yep the 970 is soooo plenty for 1080p if you want a Blue theme Card go for Gigabyte if you want Red and Black go Msi if you wan't a color that stands out on everything go EVGA
