Since its early beginnings the company has rigorously maintained its focus on the research, development and production of technologically advanced, high quality products. In 1981 Sea Sonic expanded into the production of PC power supplies to become one of the first manufacturers in this market. Soon after, the manufacturing of high quality and performance PC power supplies became the core identity of Sea Sonic.

    Old Seasonic info from many moons ago. Maybe they used to be called "Sea Sonic" but I have no clue.

    I'd like to think most tech companies were founded by engineers or people who actually can make the products, but those engineers moved on to the evils of management or the management they brought in decided that making money was more important than making products.
