I feel like every subreddit I go to the mods have a power trip every time some topic is posted that doesn't absolutely conform to a very plain topic that's 200% expected of the subreddit. I've made like 5 topic posts on different subreddits over the last couple of months and bar none, all of them have been deleted. Seems like an abuse of power if you ask me

@Dan CastellanetaI feel like it was drastically different three years ago or so when I joined reddit. Why does everybody who becomes a mod suddenly feel the need to demonstrate that they're better than everybody?

Wow, it almost sounded like you expected reddit to be a good place for logical discourse & fairness.

Well I kinda don't for comment section cuz obviously people are fucking stupid but you'd think mods would have an iota of empathy or common sense

Modern mods are part of the cancer.
The mods with sense either were bought out, banned or driven away entirely.

i like how the subs "dank memes" members roast em out openly & fairly deep when shit blows out. mods just give up when the flood of insults pile in from every angle and just stay there & get roasted head on.
