So, remember when I used to get 220 Mbps download and 13 up with Comcast? I think my mom yelled at a few too many people on the phone with Comcast because now we're getting 30 down, 6 up.....

    I'd imagine she was tired of paying for our plan and thought she could yell at enough people to pay less for the same plan, but that didn't work out.

    This sucks too. I was going to reinstall Windows today and use wired internet to get all the updates done to Windows 7 over the past 7 or so years and now it's gonna take a fucking year to do that....

    I don't know off the top of my head but I think it was like $80 per month for the old plan. I have no idea what it is now.

    $80? Holy... welp, no wonder she was tired of paying for that :D I had connection problems too, which I partially solved, but it was because of W10, not ISP. I still don't have as much upload as I should have on my PC, yet on other devices it just works fine. We pay €10 for 100/10 MB/s connection.

    lul I think we pay more than $80 for 70/6 Mb/s 

    Though if Spectrum would get their lazy asses to work we should have 100/20 soon as the local ISP recently rolled out 100/20 a month or 2 ago though they are so fucking shit and unreliable it isn't worth it

    I pay £35/$44 for 120Mb/s depends where you are in the UK in all honesty.
