  1. you can edit your post btw. Also what is your budget and do you need wifi?
  2. There are 2 types of Laptops in my opinion Cheap that get the job done and Quality that you actually have to do serious work on. If you use your laptop every day for work or something Its best to spend a little extra to get a good one.
  3. Most gaming laptops are not that portable also they are hot, noisy, and typically cant compare to a desktop in gaming and if they can a comparable desk top is cheaper. The Laptops that can compete with desktop PC's usually are over priced and they draw back is they offer little to no upgrades besides Ram and Storage.
  4. lol I said it was a shit laptop lol but its cheap and gets the job done lol
  5. then the laptop would be too heavy, to big and cost too much to make and know one would buy it. Cough Cough GT80 Titan
  6. I mean the the Hinges are fine but the laptop was for my 8 year old son and he usually just leaves it open on the desk. also its not heavy at all because its fairly bare bones.
  7. This laptop is not good I added an external SSD drive and 4 more gigs of ram but for the price it is still usable and does the job thats needed. https://www.amazon.com/HP-Performance-Graphics-Bluetooth-Windows/dp/B084YXBMR9/ref=sr_1_14?dchild=1&keywords=hp+ryzen+laptop+cpu&qid=1628860449&sr=8-14
  8. My sons HP laptop with an Ryzen APU was like $350 and it can play Minecraft and fortnight plus do any basic word/excel projects needed. I mean what more do you need from a laptop.
  9. No because I could get a cheap laptop from Dell or HP with a warranty, Tech support and Proper return department.
  10. Yes you could you could source parts and pices needed and use like a Diy based kit. But this still would cost allot and trying to compete with the major manufactures with thousands of workers that can pump out mass volumes of laptops. Thus reducing the costs of there product to were it would be almost imposable to compete without having something different to offer that's worth the added cost of there products.
  11. No they started when componets were hand soldered to the board and government entities did not have regulations on electronics. Also they started off with slapping there name on boards and products that already existed to reduce cost, and even then they likely spent millions.
  12. If you can source a already built motherboard form like Micro-Star or one of the other Chinese brands you might be able to get this to work but even then its going to cost allot. But to actually build any type of mother board from scrach it would cost millions unless it was like a small raspberry pi or arduino type board that you made by hand and programmed yourself.
  13. Good luck with that. I work in the lighting industry and we have to build custom proto type boards and just to add components to one side of a small 1in by 2in PCB it's like $10K for 20 boards and thats just for surface components on one side. This project would easily set you back 30K for just a demo board before certifications let alone what Apple would charge for there intellectual property. To get actual retail boards out on a project like this would cost millions,
  14. https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-7-5800x/p/N82E16819113665?item=N82E16819113665&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=IGNEFL081321&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL081321-_-EMC-081321-Index-_-ProcessorsDesktops-_-19113665-S9A1A&ignorebbr=1
  15. I mean it doesn't look bad and at the end of the day its just a case. ALso it comes with dust filters and RGB fans. The only draw back I see is the top is a bit constrictive.
  16. Not sure I think there is an EU version but I was not looking for it.
  17. No but always try and find a good deal when you can. also you can usualy pick up a gpu if you watch the fixit discord : https://discord.gg/gpu thats how I was able to get my 3080ti at MSRP. also they have other components that they are tracking.
  18. How exactly are they testing the the voltage to the chip? It sound to me like they are making up stuff to stiff you out of your cash. I would walk away and go somewhere else
  19. Try to stick with 1 or 2 brands if possible because the RGB is a nightmare to deal with if you don't. Also be carful with the EK fluid every time I have used it my system gummed up.
  20. I would take it out and undo what you did and make sure you dont have something shorting somewhere on the GPU. It seems like a power issue in my opinion.
  21. have you tried using one stick in all 4 slot?
  22. I mean as far as all around the Lian Li PC011 Dynamic is a pretty solid all around Case. the only issue with it is that everyone uses it. I really like the Corsair air 540 in dark gray, i just wish it had a tempered glass panel. Oh I know the Thermal Take Level 10 in black.
