  1. I mean it is a fairly standard AIO should expect 40's on idle 70 full tilt on a 5800x the cam software is fairly straight forward.
  2. you can pick up a 4670K i5 for about $40 https://www.ebay.com/itm/234135687292?hash=item368393107c:g:WAIAAOSwp~NhFa1j
  3. go into your bios and turn off you CPU fan header if you are not using it. then reboot and press F1
  4. dont stress just unplug everything and plug it back in. stay calm and make sure everything is were it needs to be. also make sure your GPU is properly seated. also if you still have your old card you can try using that to see if the pc boots properly.
  5. ya I would check all your power connections then you may have dislodged your 24 pin or 8 pin cables. Even if you get led's it doesn't mean that the power is fully seated.
  6. Was it working before you put it in your system? and its always good to retry and seat your PSU cables if you are having issues
  7. Try Corsair, Performance PC, or EK to buy your parts Corsair I think would have the best prices for shipping but you can always try Amazon. The Issue I see that you might run into is that you have several manufactures and trying to get you LED's on all of them to play nice might be hard. Also since you already need to get your GPU block from EK since the Trinity block is the only one I know that fits that card your best bet is to go with EK or Performance PC and just getting everything at once so you only have to pay shipping one time. Good brands EK, Bitspower, Alpha cool, Corsair. I actually preferer Barrow Fittings because there like $4.00 ea (USD) which is the cheapest I have seen and they make good fittings.
  8. What @Middcore said. Also are your GPU power cables all pushed in properly. do you have the right output selected on your monitor? Is the GPU new or used?
  9. at this point its kind of had to be choosy on what brand card you get. Just get the one thats at MSRP and fits your budget. Unless your trying to theme it toward your build and you want a specific color or design I would just buy the one thats available. The differences between the cards is not a large amount maybe 5fps different
  10. just what ever you do dont pay scalper prices and on older cards dont pay over MSRP
  11. Im telling you the fixit discord is the way to go. I get bombarded with cards for sale at MSRP on a daily basis.
  12. you dont need to buy scalped cards anymore if you use the fixit discord it props you when a card is for sale and you click on the link and buy it. I was able to score a 3080ti fairly easy using it, And I was constantly able to add cards to my cart for check out in the 3060-3070 range at MSRP especially Thursdays.
  13. what kind of fans, how do you have them powered and what are the specs of the rest of the system. I see this allot with LED's when they dont get enough power or they hit a sweet spot when comming up to power. If you have a fan curve and it powers your LED's the ramp up for the fans could cause the flicker due to a lack of power to the led's but once they get past the curve they would stabilize. Try playing with your fan curves to see if this is the case.
  14. how much money ontop of the RX480? if its more then 200 I would say no its not worth it.
  15. the only issue with the older generation card is they are almost harder to find then the new ones. And when you do find them they want an arm and a leg for them. Also AMD offerings are good as well, but they seem to be harder to find in stock then Nvidia
  16. 3060/3060ti you can usually score one for near msrp on thursdays at best buy if you are fallowing the Fixit tracker discord
  17. what is boot option 13 Sam? if thats your boot drive then thats your problem It will try to boot off everything else till it gets to that drive.
  18. As long as they work and are in the return window then there should be no reason you cant. Amazon is very good about returns.
  19. That depends on allot of things. If you have network or power issues allot then maybe, also if you rely on the nas as an important entity to your business or work then yes. otherwise no.
  20. maybe a lose boot drive or the drive is going out itself. Also do you have your boot priority's set up so your boot drive is your main drive?
  21. I would not bother with an AIO unless you really like the looks. I would get a good air cooler like a Dark rock pro 4 or NH-U12S
