  1. So I currently have an had 7870 in my system and it still handles current game titles pretty well, but I would like to have some more performance and I have a ton of options to choose from and I can decide. I can get two hd 6990 for $200 maybe even less. I can get two gtx 960 for $200 (but I would have to wait a month till the guy gets his new cards and it's not garuntied that I get cards), I can get a second he 7870 for $75 to $90, I can get a gtx 690 for $120. I cant decide between these choices and was want some opinions on what to get.
  2. I currently have a HD7870 and it's getting to the point where it can't really handle the games I play. Polaris would a great upgrade. So I can continue to play the games I love
  3. Does the hp board use a special mounting holes or form factor?
  4. Yes lol but I don't really WANT to spend the money on a nice case when I could save for something else. Also dual lga 1366 xeo builds aren't really expensive a pair of x5560 are only about $25
  5. I'm build a lga 1366 dual Xeon build but I need a good case that won't break the bank. I'm going to be using a supermicro x8dti but the issue is I need a cheap case that is eatx and can hold a 12x13 motherboard. Any suggestions?
  6. Would you give your opinion on the parts list I have been putting together for a little while? I would really like some one else opinion on my build.
  7. Which super micro board did you use? And does the graphics card performance take a hit because of the pcie 2.0 slot?
  8. Well I don't really need the ssd storage cause I'm only using the ssd for Windows and I already have HDD. And the thing with the PSU is that I wanted to "future" proof my self for when I get more power hungry cards
  9. I'm currently in the process of build a white and black themed build the budget is $1300 for everything. And I wanted to hear some other people's opinions. So feel free to let me know what you think. And i plan on sli later on when I have the money Link to build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Uptownsquash/saved/hnpcCJ And any ideas on where to get custom power supply cables?
  10. So recently I have started play games with mods on them but the bad part is that one of the games I have installed is on my "c" drive which is my boot drive but it's protected by admin rights...my dad would let me install the mod to my game is I decide to have a play around and see if I could find away around it...and I do. What I did was I used 7zip and use that to put the files for the mods on the game but the thing is 7zip lets you place the files there without having to type in a admin password to alow it to place the files there but you can't see that the files are there in the normal windows file explorer but if you use 7zio you can see that the files are there and everything works....has anyone else found this? Note: inorder for the mods to work on SW:EAW the mod has to be in the same file directory as the base game
  11. Thanks a ton, it's really helped a lot and I no the render times will suck but I'll have to battle throw it till I can get s job! Lol
  12. So all I really want to no is if the surface pro can run applications for video editing/video recording. I'm not 100% sure that it will work because the surface rt (I think that's what it's called) can't run anything, I mean it will only run applications from the microsoft store, so I'm hesitant about using the surface pro because I need it to be able to run the video editing software and video recording software....
  13. Ya but I don't want to have to edit them together, but it looks like I have to
  14. Ya I was looking for one on Amazon at the moment but for some reason I can't decide on one lol
  15. Dang, well I'm not sure if you can there might be a way but I'm not sure, I'll have to have a look around on the web
