  1. The power profile it is at is balanced when I go to battery. I will always set this manually to this state when I go on battery because high performance drains my battery ridiculously fast. All settings inside of the power profiles are default. But it doesn't matter on which profile I set it. The scroll lag in Word occurs on all profiles. I looked in the advanced settings but those settings should be fine as most settings related to the CPU are the same for being plugged in and on battery.
  2. Just noticed the lagging only happens when scrolling and when I stop scrolling, all lag disappears and I can type without lag. Still annoying that it lags while scrolling if you need to search for something in a document.
  3. Hi, I'm having an anoying problem with my laptop while its on battery. Word starts lagging really bad. It works fine when I plug it in and lag goes away instantly. I've looked in my power saving settings but wasn't able to find anything. Also, other Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel) run just fine without any lag. Running Office 2016. It's an Asus GL502VM-FY536T which has a GTX 1060 and an i7 7700HQ along with 16 GB DDR4 SODIMM. No overclock whatsoever. I hope somebody knows a solution because this problem is very annoying. Kind regards, Zandor Smith
  4. I noticed that after I took the picture. I did that but still the high idle temps are holding up...
  5. Photo's inside spoiler: EDIT: I could add another fan to change it into an push-pull configuration but I don't know if that will make any difference... Will need to buy a fan splitter because all my fan connections are taken up...
  6. Hi, Should I go through the hassle of removing my waterblock of my AIO to reapply thermal paste? Having some real high cpu temps. CPU usage is around 0-20% and having temps ranging from 46-55 C. Ambient temps are around 26 C. The CPU is an i7-4790k (no overclock currently, unlike the specs website below mentioning otherwise), cooler is a Corsair Hydro Series H75 and thermal paste is around 1,5 years old. (Build in december 2015). I don't want to go through the hassle of this process today because it is so warm in my house caused from the warm weather in the Netherlands. The air coming from the back of my pc is warmer than I would like (radiator mounted in the back). Kind regards, Zandor Smith For more specs (if needed) go to https://zandorsmith.com/specs/ and then it's the first in the list (Gaming PC).
  7. And here's my network setup. In the lowerright corner is shown what every wire is. Wireless devices are phones, tablets and laptops and are not shown. Wires running through rooms to other rooms are actually running through those rooms in real life. Wires running around boxes are running through walls. I also didn't display the Unifi Cloud Key which is connected to the TP-Link switch in the network closet. Made using gliffy.
  8. I decided to order an Intel Pentium G4400 which is Skylake based for €71,95 to get this fixed as soon as possible. I contacted all local tech shops that were still open and none of them had any Skylake CPU's laying around... (There aren't many tech shops around here and the ones there are, are in my opinion very inexperienced. I live in the Netherlands... Anyway, back to topic...) The store that I'm buying everything from delivers on Sundays so I will report back with my story tomorrow for people that also have this issue.
  9. How do I update it to the F20 version on Gigabyte's website with the Kaby Lake CPU because I don't have a Sky Lake CPU... http://www.gigabyte.co.nl/Motherboard/GA-H110M-S2H-rev-10#support-dl I chose an overclockable CPU because where I was buying from it was cheaper than the non-overclockable one... Don't know why tho
  10. I grabbed the other Mobo (with speaker), CPU (without cooler), RAM and PSU, connected it and used a screwdriver to simulate a powerbutton and it produced the same repeated long beeping sounds... Does this mean the bios has an old firmware? How do I update it to a newer firmware when I don't have a skylake CPU lying around?
  11. Hi guys, I have a little problem. I'm building two exact systems for my dad's company. Specs are: Intel Core i5 7600k Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H Kingston HyperX Fury 8 GB DIMM DDR4-2400 Corsair Builder CX450M Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo I've now build one of those but it doesn't post. It gives repeated long beeping sounds from the speaker which I connected after it didn't boot the first time. Things I've tried: Reseat the CPU Reapply thermal paste (because I used way too much) Clear CMOS Reseat RAM 1000x Use different ram stick Use different CPU I was going to try to use the other motherboard to build the other pc before trying the different CPU but after I swapped the cpu out for the other one, I'm not sure that's the fastest approach to fixing this problem. I would love to hear your suggestions and hope to fix this as soon as possible. Thanks! Kind regards, Zandor I wish I was Linus right now, he would know how to fix this Socket pins look fine to me:
  12. Could you perhaps do another reset of your pc and run a speedtest after each program you install? That way you can see which program causes the slow internet connection.
  13. Can you run a speedtest on a device that has normal internet speeds and on your pc with slow internet?
  14. It looks awesome! I would love to give this a try on the front of a massive building and see how it would look.
