Saw you're review, great review btw, but I was worried because I saw in a youtube video that the sound wasn't really good with an old motherboard sound card and when he tried it with a newer motherboard with internal amplefier it sound amazing. and, Intel DH67BLR LGA 1055

Ok, thanks for all the help, I think I'm going with the HyperX cloud, you sure it will be fine with default motherboard soundcard? and are there any known issues with it?

Hello LinusTechTips fellows Wanted to ask before I buy something, What is better between all this headsets\headphones? HyperX Cloud, Kraken 7.1, Siberia v2 USB or Logitec g430 I don't really care about mic quality because I'm using external one, and I will be going to use my default motherboard sound card if its analog and not USB, (LGA 1055 Intel motherboard). This topic will help me to decide and also you can disscuss what ever is better for the price, quality, build quality, sound microphone and etc. feel free to recommand me better headset\headphone for less or 100$ Help will be appreciated!, please come with recommand not only what you think is better but from personal use experience. I would also love to use the set with my phone. Edit:The headset\phones are for competetive fps and single player games, for the competetive part, I want to be able to hear footsteps and from where they come. -

Can anyone recommand me a good gaming headset for something around 100$? Comfortable, Support 7.1 through usb and uses an extenal soundcard so I can use it with my mobile phone too. Help will be appreciated! *just asking, how is the SteelSeries Siberia v2 USB? and I could use it with my phone?
