    A few month ago, my old ASROCK 970 Pro3 died, and now I finally have the money to buy a new one. I am planning to use a Z97 motherboard (most likely the Gigabyte Z97X-SOC with an i5-4690K, since I can get an awesome discount on that bundle). Now my question is: What will I have to do to get the old motherboard drivers off the harddrive so that they won't interfere with my new drivers? I have acces to my laptop, from which I could access the hard drive via an eSata cable. Thanks in advance for your answers

    The crucial differences between these two blocks are that : a)The first one is made of nickel while the second one is made out of copper (you should'nt mix the two metals in your loop, because it'll cause corrosion, thus decreasing your cooling capabilities) and b)The second one isn't compatible with the PCB-design of your gpu (because the PCB is custom made by EVGA, and has a different layout than the refference design) I checked the EK cooling configurator, and for full cover blocks you only have the choice between the Nickel or the Acetal+Nickel version for your videocard : EK-FC780 GTX Classy - Acetal+Nickel [3831109868492] and EK-FC780 GTX Classy - Nickel [3831109868607]

    I am planning to upgrade my build : http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Rebbur/saved/j4XfrH , and I have some questions regarding the Dark Rock Pro 3 and the choice of graphics card. 1) The case has a maximum CPU cooler height of 165mm. Will the Dark Rock Pro 3 fit with its height of 163mm? 2) Will the RAM fit under the cooler or will I have to buy some low profile ram / choose another cooler? 3) The custom models for the GTX 970 cost around 350-400€, and a custom GTX 980 costs around 550-600€. Is the 200€ difference worth it, especially considering SLI performance at 4K? What custom model of the graphic card would you pick?

    That is because the i5s are basically i7s with hyperthreading disabled. That way, intel can make use of some of the 'faulty' chips.
