  1. So? I would do it for the sake of a few thousand...
  2. Have a look at this: http://docs.nvidia.com/deploy/rma-process/ Taking off the stock cooler voids the warranty I believe?! Or is it just putting a new one on? Not sure, if he leaves no trace he took off the stock one then its fine. I would try and RMA first.
  3. Try: MEI: V11.0.5.1189 or Intel(R) Management Engine Interface V11.0.0.1172 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit / 10 64bit.(WHQL) Intel_Chipset_V10.1.1.27 Asmedia_USB3_V1.16.35.1 From this page: https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/Z170-A/HelpDesk_Download/ Top 3 are under chipset, bottom one is under USB. Do the MEI before the others.
  4. Download this tool from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930 It lets you hide updates just like you could in Windows 7/8. Install this and hide the troublesome update.
  5. I guess it is for more countries. Not the "whole" internet. If they are good enough which I think they probably are, they could hit the right places and take down exchanges etc crippling countries or large areas. And for the ai, that's great, but there is always vulnerabilities. Or even back doors for government use which the hackers can exploit. It is not like they will create a closed system of which they have no control over - especially if it is self adapting.
  6. It would be better to go with a switch rather than a splitter. I believe a splitter can only reach 100Mb/s. Where as a swtich can reach up to 1000Mb/s or 1Gb/s and beyond. Not that you have 1Gb connection, but if you where to have two PC's. Might has well have the faster option for not a lot more money. There would also be room for expansion then as well. You can pick up a 5 port gigabit switch for £20/$25 or even cheaper.
  7. Was it on your home network? What operating system are you using? You could use a VPN, there are free ones out there. However, no one should really have to use a VPN - although they are good. They are not necessary. I use no anti-virus or protection. I am just cautious about what I go on.
  8. Click "Repair Your Computer" in the bottom left just after selecting the language. Then "Troubleshoot" then "Advanced Options" then "Command Prompt".
  9. Go back to the main menu of the installation, go to CMD and type Diskpart. Type List Disk to see all your disks. Look at them all and do Select Disk 1. 1 is an example. Replace this number with one that you are sure is the disk. Then type Clean - WARNING THIS WIPES THE WHOLE DISK Then type Active Then try to install Windows.
  10. Mine are fine? I have paid cheap and got lots
  11. You could go with eBay? I have no problem with them. This looks like what you are looking for: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SINTECH-mSATA-to-Micro-SATA-Adapter-converter-card-for-intel-Sandisk-Adata-SSD-/221277513171 It is small as well. Edit: WAIT! That is Micro-sata... Here you go: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8-Micro-SATA-To-2-5-SATA-Laptop-Notebook-SSD-HDD-Adapter-Converter-/321723751424?hash=item4ae83adc00:g:MWwAAOSwPgxVK0EE You could probably find one whole one in your area with a bit more searching.
  12. I have seen adapters around loads. A quick Google can return some results for your area. I believe they can come in the 2.5" mounting style as well so it complies with SSD mounting points. Edit: I can pick one up from Amazon for £12. So for you it might be around $15-$20.
  13. Never thought I would say this.... Good guy Ubi Edit: lol, forgot I had the game... Need a controller to play.. or a wheel.
  14. I thought BT 5 would be implemented, no? Unless it is capable and they release it software side when BT 5 is at its full?!
  15. Have a look at multiple WoL guides online. If you cant get any of them to work, then message back here. One of the best tools for troubleshooting this situation is WireShark. It will tell you if you are receiving the WoL packet. It will actually say that the packet type is a "Magic Packet" or a "WoL" packet. With this, you know if you are receiving the WoL packet from the outside world
  16. Wear rubber gloves and stick a paper clip in the back. lol jk don't do that. Did you pay with PayPal? If so, dispute it and get your money back.
  17. Nothing. Speed is exactly the same. The Intel drivers are better however. My E2200 had problems and lots of conflicts with things. Edit: I would not buy one over the other just because of this fact. I have not drive it on Windows 10.
  18. Until it becomes the same price as a normal fridge. Which will probably not happen actually...
  19. Well, I know the place. The bus lol yeah, I mean country. I should be been more specific.
