  1. @DoctorNick, thanks for the info. both of them seem to be very good monitors so i'll probably see if i can find a good deal on either of them around christmas.
  2. Hi, i'm currently looking for a 1440p high refreshrate (120+) monitor with some hdr support and preferably gsync or freesync. I found the Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD and the Gigabyte Aorus CV27Q which seem to be extremely similar in specs apart from the latter being curved. However the curved one seems to be a lot cheaper than the normal one. Are there other differences that i'm missing? Are there people who have tried these monitors? What are your thoughts on them? Are there others good monitors i should check out?
  3. so after replacing both the MB and the CPU i found out that it was neither that was causing the issue. Replacing the graphics card with a gtx 1070 solved the issue and gave the screen. I still have no idea why there is an incompatibility with the graphics card, but at least i have a screen now.
  4. I've already tried reseating the gpu a few times, and also tested it in a different pc. does that mean that the motherboard might be broken and can't detect the GPU?
  5. Hi, I'm creating a new build and having issues getting video output from it. Fans are spinning fine though. I'm connecting the monitor directly to the gpu (though the port on the motherboard doesn't output anything either). components: MB: asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac cpu: Ryzen 5 2600 gpu: Nvidia GTX 780 DirectCU 2 PSU: Thermaltake Hamburg 530W RAM: 2x 8GB I already replaced the CPU with an identical one. I've tried with a single stick of ram in either slot. I've tried resetting the cmos. In all these cases the issue stays the same. I've also tried the GPU and screen in another pc and there it works fine. I did connect a speaker to the board, and it's giving 5 beeps when posting. but i can't seem to find information in the manual about what this means
  6. yes, i was using the onboard gpu, the 780 does not generate any video on any of the ports.
  7. MB: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING CPU: intel 4770k gpu: gtx 780 ASUS DirectCU-2 memory 16 GB Corsair vengeance
  8. Hi, Suddenly today my graphics card is no longer detected by my computer, even when looking directly in the bios. I have already tried switching the PCIE slot, and it still had the same result. Does this mean the graphics card died? or is there a fix for this?
  9. Hi, I'm looking for a cheap ( €100- €200) tablet for someone who has never worked with a tablet before and i was hoping to get some suggestions here. The idea is to be able to take it in a purse so i was thinking about around an 8 inch screen. Apart from that it should be rigid as it is meant to take on travels. And finally it should have somewhat decent battery life. Speed or camera isn't that relevant as it will be mostly used for facebook and google searches.
  10. This looks like a kickass projector. would love to have one
