  1. So, on the topic of USB3 connectors to the motherboard. The last 3 PC's I've built the usb3 connector is always extremely loose. To the point where its fallen out while I was moving my PC one time and I thought my USB3 ports were completely broken until a month later when I was dusting out my PC and noticed it had fallen out. This was the one common complaint that I completely disagree with, because of my experience with these things being very loose. Linus said they're so tight you feel like you're pulling it off the motherboard when removing them, I've never experienced that.
  2. This episode was great advertisement for the Nintendo Switch. There is someone playing one in literally every shot.
  3. At 51:11 where Luke is talking about just streaming to one person, that's exactly what Steams built in streaming thing is perfect for. You just click on your friends name and do "Watch Game" and you can watch their gameplay. By default I think it asks them if they want to allow it, but you can configure it to automatically allow friends to view your gameplay. My friends and I do this all the time, its not unusual for someone to just start watching me play a game because they're curious what the game is like and want to talk to me about it while I'm playing it.
  4. I won't accept these results until I can see a third party reproduce these tests with all mice. For all we know Logitech may have been doing something to give their mice a favorable advantage over the competition. (though having used the Razer Chroma, I already know that mouse is junk)
  5. So I don't know how Linus totally missed the fact that holding shift turns - into _ on the steam keyboard, the same way you get it on a normal keyboard. Or the fact that you can filter by steamOS on the normal steam interface. But I do agree that there need to be more features in big picture like filtering the games or the ability to use the steam controller as a mouse cursor, which looks like they are going to add in the future.
  6. They are using footage of the old kitchen with Linus standing in front of a green screen and its very, very obvious. They probably messed with the colors and lighting to try to make it less obvious? It just makes it more obvious though. Also 2-3 times in the video they screwed up the scene so the kitchen in the background zooms in/out (2:43), disappears completely (5:41), and the still image vs looped footage gives it no life. PS: Linus, you can right click on taskbar -> properties and the option for showing/hiding icons in the system tray is in there.
  7. Yeah I don't think I'm going to be using Vessel. Aside from frequent buffering and the video player not responding to the space key or mouse click to pause it (something I like to use on Youtube) there are other reasons: Gotta love that resolution! That's what, 480? Cmon, Vessel. And yes, for the record, I had it set to 'high' to get the best quality picture I could.
  8. I'm really digging the lighting effect on the extreme. I wonder if the lighting indicates more like how hot the card is running? That would be pretty cool to have.
  9. That's a joke that went over your head. They aren't doing that for people checking for named versions of Windows. Windows has a much more detailed version numbering system which makes more sense under the hood.
  10. A chance at winning that 1000w power supply? That is more than reason enough for me to finally make an account here. Been watching your videos for a few months now and I would love a chance to win. and
