  1. Rig: my rig cpu: i7-4790k (stock) gpu: R9 270X MSI 2G ram: Corsair Vengeance 16gb I honestly didn't think the 270x would do that poorly
  2. I know the 980ti will absolutely demolish 1440p but its so expensive! And i've been looking up 390 vs 390x and there is almost no difference, is this information wrong? is the 390x really a lot better?
  3. Hi, I am wondering if my MSI R9 270X is worth upgrading to an MSI R9 390. I play at 1440p and the 270X gets usually between 45-55 fps on high. I am wondering if the 390 is going to be a big performance difference or if I should just save up a little more and get a better card, maybe a 980 ti! I know most of you are going to say get the 980ti but I really want a new card that I don't have to spend every dollar I have on. My build is a i7-4790k at stock, an EVGA G2 850w, an an msi z97 gaming 5 mobo. Let me know if you need anything else! Thanks!
  4. Hi. I have windows 7 64 bit Pro and I am trying to install some windows updates and it keeps failing. I tried to look up the error and it said to try to reinstall my .NET Framework and that didn't work. I can not seem to figure it out. Please help me figure out why this is not updating! Thanks! http://imgur.com/PDAJUiy
  5. I love it! That's the one! ps:not really tho
  6. Aw dammit...And alright, I will try to put more into a mic than a camera but I don't have much to put into either...
  7. Thank you for clearing up my stupid little brain. I would definitely want one of those clip-on mics. Thanks! PS: not supposed to be sarcastic at all, sorry if it sounded like it
  8. Thank you for giving me a legitimate answer. I would thinking use the Blue Snowball to just either record next to the camera while I am going or record it separately and just show the product the whole video and put my audio over it. I will make sure to check out the cameras later! And lastly, I like that name too!
  9. I will definitely look into the mics if I can't use my friends and I will take a good look at the camera. As for the name, it is simple but I actually like it a lot. Thanks!
  10. I will, lol, my bad I don't want to copy Linus and that's about what I thought...Could I still record on my phone though? Or would it be too bad to even post
  11. Hi, I want to start a tech channel similar to Linus' but a mix between his and JayzTwoCents' channel. I would like to know three things, 1)What should my name be as I am out of ideas. PS:My name is Nick. 2)What camera should I get. I have an Iphone 5S and was thinking about just using that for the start but I am not sure. I would not like to spend too much money on a new camera. under $100 but the cheaper, the better. And 3)Which microphone should I use. I could use the one in my phone but it's pretty shitty. And I have Turtle Beach X12s that have an okay mic but it is nothing amazing. I could borrow/buy my friends Blue Snowball because the voice quality is a hell of a lot better than my headset. Again, I would like to spend as little as possible but I am willing to go up to about $100. I have a pretty good rig for editing and I have the software I would need to edit videos. Also note, I am only doing this as a hobby. I do not plan to "make it big" like Linus did. I simply want something to do in my spare time and want to put my computer to better use as I have not been in the mood for gaming lately. Thanks a lot!
  12. Oh,alright. I feel like the single 360 might work but the fans would have to ramp up some times and also the temps would be on the high side occasionally. I will probably just add a 240 to it just to be on the safe side
  13. Basically what you're saying is 360+240>360? That makes a lot of sense
  14. It isn't a task I'm not willing to handle, the only issue is $$$, it's fuckin expensive!
  15. I'm sure this has been asked several times but i'm going to ask again. If I am going to put a custom loop in my system, will a single 360 rad be enough to watercool an i7-4790k and an EVGA 980 ti? What do you guys think? Thanks!
  16. Yep, thanks for your help bro!
  17. I want an ATX Full Tower so I can eventually put a custom loop in there without having any space issues. I will definitely consider the 750D though
  18. So true...and if i get a custom loop, I will want to look at the inside a lot more then the outside. Is this bigger then the phantom, same size, or smaller?
  19. Since I would be buying from either Amazon or Newegg (US), it isn't that much more then the case I have previously selected. It is fairly bland though, the phantom 530 is better to look at then the 750D(personal opinion). I will definitely consider it though. Thanks!
  20. My current system is THIS. I want a new case and psu for my birthday, which is coming up. My current case is a cheap, Ultra mid-tower case and my psu came with it which is about 600w but it is not very reputable. Eventually, I play to get 2x970s (not sure about the 2x970s, maybe a 980 or something) and a custom loop. I am not sure if these parts are good for what I want. I know that more wattage from the psu doesn't hurt anything and since it is only 15$ more then the 750w, I thought why not. Anyways, THISis the case (I personally like the look and like that it is a full-tower) I was looking at and THISis the psu I want. I have pretty much decided on these but want to hear your experiences/opinions on them. Have you had any bad experiences or do u know someone who has had a problem? Thanks in advance! Edit: I want a case with an almost,if not completely full view into the computer, thanks!
  21. I would LOVE to get a 5820k because I am currently using a fx-4100 for gaming...yea...an upgrade would be nice
  22. Mainly gaming. I play Watch Dogs, COD:Ghosts, South Park-The Stick Of Truth, Loadout, CS:GO, TF2, Payday, and a few others I don't play as much. And i'm mainly upgrading for better FPS, but making my PC faster definitely wouldn't hurt
  23. Damn, that is a lot faster...idk if I should get the cpu/mobo first or the ssd...
