I just recently bought a new modem and a new router to replace my old Xfinity modem. When I connect the server via ethernet to the new router it does not show up in the device list in the router menu. And when I try ifconfig -a it shows the inet addr to be the old ip (10.0.x.x) where the new one should be 198.168.x.x. It's been awhile since i set up that sever.. Are there some config files that I have to edit for it to be on the new network?

So I just got approved for a new replacement rad from corsair. Thanks everyone for their input. -
[SOLVED] CPU not cooling down

No, but I think i have it figured out. I hooked up my sisters H100i and I got about 30-40c. And when im listening closely I can hear the pump. So im 80% sure the pump is broken on my H110i. Ill send it in for RMA. -

No, thats just some residue from the pre-applied thermal past from the factory. I couldn't get it off -

hmm. So this is what it looked like when I reapplied the thermal paste the first time: http://imgur.com/gallery/KOxmf (i put a bit too much) It seems like it made good contact, right? -

Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5g Thermal Paste. Im pretty sure it was stepping, because at idle the clock speed dips down, but when I AIDA running, it goes up to 4gz. -
Ive been using a MacBook pro for about 5 years now. To this day no touchpad on a windows laptop has ever been better... i have no idea how they do it

[SOLVED] CPU not cooling down
Harinder replied to Harinder's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
oml im dumb. Ive been running at these temps for 6 months now... Ill try another remount as @pyrojoe34 recommend. if that doesn't help, I will contact Corsair, and hopefully get a replacement rad. Thanks for the help. My cpu didnt come with a cooler. ill try to remount it and see if that'll fix it. if not then ill replace the rad. thanks for the help. -

60-70 idle temps seems to be normal. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2420752/5820k-idel-temperature-load-temperature.html -

Yes. Corsair link says the pump is around 3000. (whatever that means). -
After I cleaned my radiator (GTX H110i) today, my CPU (5820k) idle temps would not drop below 82c. +90c when just browsing chrome. Normally it is around 65-75c when on chrome. I tried replacing the thermal compound but that did not seem to help. Removed OC to default. - no help To clean my rad I used a vacuum with bristles. Pretty sure that would not effect cooling performance.. I used a microfiber cloth to wipe PCIe slots, not the motherboard itself. One thing to note - when I feel the two pipes leading to the rad, one is cool, and the other is warm. So I think the rad is doing its job. I don't think there is a program eating performance because temps are still 80+ in the BIOS menu. PCP link ( http://pcpartpicker.com/list/h3wVBP )
