  1. Big thanks for typographie! just the answer I was looking for
  2. Thanks for the post guys, I would prefer if you read my comments though lol. Why should I use TB? what is the benefit? like I said, my games never drop or go above 60fps, if I'm ever running something new and it drops below. I'll just drop a setting, til it's constant, I've never had issues before just using Vsync, so why should I use it? I thought it only benefited you if your fps dropped, also I read it only works in OpenGL games
  3. Yeh great with just v sync, never had issues before, I just saw the option in the NCP and thought, should I keep this on or off, I always have a constant 60fps. I saw people on other forums just say, keep it on no matter what, but if I get an additional frame of lag and don't have issues otherwise, I might as well keep it off?
  4. Yeh but i've never ever had frame tearing with v sync on
  5. Yeh I'm looking for a reason why I should keep it on? I thought it only helped with fps drops, but it adds additonal frame lag to the monitor? my games don't drop below 60fps ever and even if they drop below, I'll drop the setting, if it's only for fps drops, yet mine never do, but I'd be getting an additional frame lag, surely it's better off? no idea
  6. Yeh I'm looking for a reason why I should keep it on? I thought it only helped with fps drops, but it adds additonal frame lag to the monitor? my games don't drop below 60fps ever and even if they drop below, I'll drop the settings
  7. Alright guys, read through so many topic's on so many websites about this, I've read, leave it on and you increase input lag, or decrease input lag, it add's an additional frame of lag to your monitor, just leave it on anyway, it helps when your fps drops, can anyone give me a definite answer? I use a 980 and my fps never drops below 60 anyway, so shall I just leave it off, or is it actually beneficial to leave it on even if you don't get fps drops? any opinions appreciated
  8. Depends, if you're looking for a MGS game with a great story and characters no.. If your looking for some great gameplay, definately
  9. Thanks for the reply, yeh i guess IHS is out of people's control, well i've actually disabled hyperthreading for cooler temps and i heard it can lower your fps, so will wait until this is actually utilised, if ever but thanks man
  10. Thats ok then as fitting the coolermaster block is a right mission with that dodgy bracket!! Ah thats cool then, i'd say you have some pretty sweet temps all things considered, is their actually much benefit for an oc at 1080p? apart from mmo's?
  11. So the difference in temps for different cores is ok? sweet why does it run so hot man? you must have a serious oc going?
