  1. If that mesh went all the way up then yet, with those ugly bays nah. Not a bad deal if you like the case though just not my personal preference.
  2. Yea this is such a good deal but I have been telling myself I will upgrade with Pascal. Hard though at that price!
  3. We already have those restrictions... This is always the gun control argument. "Don't worry, we don't want to ban all guns just these scary looking ones". Over the years this has happened tons of times, each time they want something else and they will never stop until guns are totally banned. A good example is the Federal Assault Weapons ban than Clinton signed. There was a sunset clause that said if it wasn't resigned within X amount of time it was voided. Well 10 years (I think that was the length) later and it was not signed again, want to know why? Because it made no difference! AR15s and other scary looking "military style" whatchamahavits are used in hardly any crime. The typical gun used to kill another person is a handgun but our Supreme Court has ruled that they are protected under the 2nd amendment and the Federal and State governments can not ban them. Another good example is the bill that Gavin Newsom proposed just the other day. Back in the late 90s there was a push here in CA to have more Gun Control. They ended up doing a bunch of stuff but one of the big ones was banning "High Capacity" (or if you know anything about guns you would call them standard capacity) magazines. In order to get the law passed they had to allow previously purchased/owned magazines to be grandfathered in. Now this new bill that was introduced this week wants to reverse that and confiscate all magazines in CA over 10 rounds. How is that fair? Overnight, thousands of CA gun owners will become criminals just for having a piece of metal that holds bullets. What if they are not paying attention to the news and aren't tuned into the CA gun culture? They would never know that they are now a criminal. That is one thing a lot of people who aren't into guns don't understand. The antis will not stop, ever. Today we may give them an inch, and 10 years from now we will find ourselves 10 miles down the road because every time someone got scared we gave another inch. Sorry, we are tired of it and we will not give another inch.
  4. I agree, well to add to that the media here pushes this agenda and it is all over the headlines. You don't hear about any of the other ways to get killed very often in the news, generally unless it is a local story you wont see it on your local station. Now if someone gets killed by a gun on the East Coast, I will hear about that on the West Coast before the body is cold.
  5. People who don't live in the US or have never been here have such an over exaggerated idea about guns/crime here. There are small pockets of very high violence within the US, usually gang and/or drug related. The overwhelming majority of us don't live in these kinds of areas so out experience is similar to other developed countries as far as violence is concerned. I don't know anyone who has been killed. I don't know anyone who has ever been shot (outside of war at least). I don't know anyone who has shot anyone (outside of war again). Also, we have bigger problems than a few Mass Shootings. While I agree they are horrible tragedies they are statistically insignificant vs. the other reasons people here die. For example: Gun Deaths: 10,448 (http://www.gunviolencearchive.org/) Mass Shooting Deaths: 567 (http://www.mintpressnews.com/police-killed-more-americans-in-2014-than-all-u-s-mass-shootings-combined/206862/) Traffic Accident Deaths: 32,719 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_motor_vehicle_deaths_in_U.S._by_year) DUI Deaths: 10,076 (http://www.cdc.gov/motorvehiclesafety/impaired_driving/impaired-drv_factsheet.html) Medical Malpractice: Estimated at 440,000 (http://www.medicalmalpracticelawyer.center/2014/05/new-study-confirms-440000-deat.html) So lets just look at those. You are 57 times more likely to die in a car accident than a Mass Shooting. You are just over 3 times more likely to get killed by a traffic accident than a gun (that gun deaths stat includes police killing people as well, actually that's about 1/3 of the whole number). And to top it off, roughly 17% (by these estimates) of the total deaths in the US in 2014 (both natural and unnatural BTW) were because of Medical Malpractice. IMO the low hanging fruit here are the Traffic Accident (specifically DUI) Deaths as well as the Medical Malpractice. First of all, driving is not a right it is a privileged so its a lot easier (legally at least) to remove a persons ability to do that then to own firearms. My solution, get a DUI you don't get to go home and sleep in your bed you go to jail and hang there for a bit. When you get out you never get to drive again and if you get caught driving without a license (most offenders keep driving even without a license) you go right back to jail. As it is now its mostly fines and in some cases you can even keep a provisional license to drive to and from work. How cute! Medical Malpractice. These medical professionals need to take accountability for their mistakes. I'm sorry but even the lowest estimates I could find of 100k is 10x more than gun deaths and these are just mistakes that kill people in hospitals. Fix those and we can talk. Otherwise, leave my constitutionally protected (not granted BTW) rights out of it.
  6. So instead of getting a years worth of crates for ~$3 you can save $3 off. Hahahaha classic!
  7. I want one but I am going to wait until the pricing is not so ridiculous to buy.
  8. You could put it in UE4 and walk around it in realtime, would take you a lot less than a month to do and you can have endless video recorded out of it.
  9. Where are you seeing the 32GB for $10? Its $15 on amazon and $40 on bestbuy? Still not bad I guess at $15, having both 3.0 and the micro is nice.
  10. http://www.blinq.com has better refurb deals IMO. For example a Thinkpad yoga 12.5" with I7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD for $712. The thinkpad yogas have a better screen than the yoga 2s and the one I got has the wacom digitizer as well (mine is a i5 model but otherwise the same and I got it for $600).
  11. Just wanted to make people aware that is all, you can make whatever decision is right for you. For me getting a flash drive that will end up in the garbage is worse than spending $2 less plus with my Amazon CC I get 3% back as points so that is another $5 off.
  12. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178689&cm_re=pny_flash_drive_128-_-20-178-689-_-Product That was the one, the recent reviews are horrible and I bet Newegg is just trying to dump their stock on people who wont return because it was a freebie. I have no experience with it personally but I was interested in the deal until I could get it cheaper on Amazon since the flash drive seems to be junk anyways.
  13. Check the reviews on the flash drive, nothing but "DOA" and "Failed after first use". Amazon has it listed for $2 cheaper (has been for a week or more) and free shipping if you have prime, I have been contemplating buying one but I don't really "need" it.
  14. You guys have upped the game on YouTube and really offer great info for people at all different levels. Keep up the great work!
