  1. Wrong. There is a perfect setup. The last one you posted with an R9 380* instead is the perfect setup. It's called math. *(and an SSD)
  2. @Civvie That is actually a really good idea. Go sign up for the free 10-day trial at www.lynda.com/wanshow. You can learn many things there.
  3. Your PC will not be granted magical powers and become a wizard of the FPS just because it says " Nvidia " on its graphics card. Only your wallet will become lighter. You want an AMD Radeon R9 280 or 380. It is the best graphics card in that price range.
  4. 1: Watch a few tutorials. 2: Get another friend to allow you to practice with them. 3: Watch a few more tutorials. 4: Practice, practice, practice. Practice makes the master.
  5. You know, your question is kinda like asking if a car purchased in Germany will be able to run in Spain. Of course it will...
  6. Yes. Hardware is not region bound. It is all exactly the same, no matter where you buy it.
  7. Why a 390, if a 290 performs the same and is cheaper?
  8. Still, the 960 is not a good card. Get a 290 instead.
  9. Either what the oger said, or the Xeon build with a 290 instead, which will perform a tad better.
  10. Puke-inducing. It won't work, because you forgot to incude a storage drive. Other than that, it is somewhat good, but this is much, much better, as well as cheaper:
  11. Very good build. But if you get an 850W PSU instead, you'll be able to upgrade by add another 390 at some point in the future. I'd recommend doing that.
  12. The 8350 is a phenomenal CPU, but it can not run games. You wouldn't survive. Rather drown in tears of regret. But why is it that you're asking? Did you buy it already?
  13. There is none. The 8350 is already AMD's best CPU. There is none, because the last time AMD has actually made a new CPU was like 5 years ago.
  14. PSU: yes. CPU: no. You will get abominable gaming performance, so bad that it will make you puke onto your keyboard, and wish you had done so onto your shitty PC instead. Get this instead:
  15. That thing the oger posted will do 10 times what you want at the same time. Effortlessly, as if it could do it another 10 times at a time.
  16. ^ I second that. Even though it makes no sense for a RAM stick to be branded as sport
  17. 1 Clock speed does not equal performance. Broadly speking, each CPU can do a different amount of instructions in each clock, the more, the better it will perform. But the only way you can really know how well a CPU performs is by looking at benchmarks. ^ This. It's the best CPU.
  18. The power supply is trash. Dont' buy it. The CPU is meh. You'd be better off with an i3 or a 4460, since games aren't very multithreaded anyways.
  19. What is your budget? Do you have any other parts yet? Also, don't just throw your topic into general discussion. There is a specific subforum for this.
  20. The power supply would die, and kill your hardware in the process. But if you get a new power supply with it, then it would be fine. Just don't buy that trash you put in your first post. Also, Dell mobos are kinda bad, so it might end up failing eventually.
  21. So what about it? If you had done your research, you would know that cannabis has no harmful effects on the body. Unlike alcohol and tobacco, which kill thousands of thousands of people every year. You don't complain about those two, do you? Oh, because those two are legal. But cannabis, which is a drug, just like alcohol and tobacco... the only reason you complain about it is because of the stereotypes those above calling themselves government have fed into you. Even though nobody in history has ever died to it. But going around selling alcohol and tobacco, which kill millions every year? God forbid going against them, those perfectly fine. Ater all, the government says so. Go home, kid. Do some research before spitting out nonesense.
  22. Hence all the stories about AMD CPUs that would "melt into their heatsyncs".
  23. Give Lenovo a call. You might be able to get them to send (sell) you the cable or direct you to where you can get one.
