Avert any violent retaliation immediately. That is not productive in any way. Also, very cowardly if they plan on ganging up. Nothing good will come of it.
As for you pressing charges. As far as I know you are within your rights to do so and I would not blame you if you did. I suppose it depends on whether you feel it necessary to take such a measure.
They are impressed. Building a computer by yourself is basically rocket science to them. They also have no complaints about how I spend my funds, as they don't consider it any of their business.
Not in the slightest. I'm an anomaly. Most Norwegians have a decent level of English education to be sure, but unlike me they didn't make it their primary language. In addition, I enjoy utilizing this fantastic vocabulary to its greatest extent.
I spend virtually every waking hour in front of a screen and I still get the required amount of sleep or more. But that's anecdotal. In any case it doesn't affect me.
I didn't do a good job of cable management figuring I could just fix it later, conveniently ignoring that I know I'm too lazy to do that. So it's pretty unsightly. Luckily it is out of sight and it works, which is the important part.

I spent the better part of a week, something like six days and some hours, without sleep, playing through Mass Effect 1-3 in a row right after 3 came out.
My Game of the year for 2014 was definitely Dragon Age: Inquisition. I've already poured hundreds of hours into it and am still enjoying myself greatly.
