  1. Pcie 1.0 may be your problem, or make sure the monitor is plug in the gpu and not the motherboard. (Some recent cards won't work with pcie 1.0, but it should work)
  2. Can q6600 run bf4? Yes Can q6600 max out bf4? No Get a gtx 750 or r9 270 and you will be able to play bf4 for sure.
  3. They did something wrong with the installation, the wrench part need to be done outside the case. The installation is actualy pretty easy. I suspect perfomance impact from the weird installation. First put the screw and place the ruber on it."Don't forget the backplate." Then assemble all the other parts before the aligment."Don't put the thermal past on the cooler this is not my picture." Then put TIM on the cpu, align the cooler with the screws already on the motherboard and tight it from the back plate.
  4. Maybe he explained wrong, But the fact is ... if you dont need IGPU xeon are a good way to save some money. Then what he said about cooler and others things was bullshit. e3-1230 v3 score around 10000 (250$) i7-4790 score around 10000 (290$)
  5. The i7-950 is almost the same chip as the i7-920 and the rampage 2 is a realy good board. i7-950 at 4ghz= around 7000
  6. P6T + 920 for 180$ I will go if you can't wait to find a xeon x5650. They are 6 core + hyperthreading and can be overclock to 4 ghz with after market cooler. This will outperfom by much i7-920. Overclocked score I7-920 3ghz = around 5500 (30-40$ used) I7-920 4ghz = around 7000 (...) x5650 3ghz = around 8500 (70-100$ used) x5650 4ghz = around 10500 (...) i7-4790k 4.5ghz = around 12000
  7. If last time you installed drivers without graphic card already installed, driver for IGPU may have installed itself. Now if you have graphic card plug in, IGPU can't install itself.
  8. Did you found something not working on your pc? If not, why do you care? If yes you should know right away what is not installed.
  9. I doubt it's hardware problem, ram can't load itself. I'm sure at 95% something weird running on the pc, it may not be a virus however.
  10. Old x58 motherboard in good condition worth 100-150$. However you can get a xeon x5650 for 75$. So for around 200$ you can get a killer setup. Xeon x5650 overclocked at 4.0 ghz still kick ass.
  11. Idle temp mean nothing. If your load temps get above 70 with stock settings and after market cooler then it's another story. My i5 3570k idle at 40-42c but with 4.5 ghz overclock 1.28v load are under 75c for all core with hyper 212.
  12. My bad sorry. Look small on the picture from asus.
  13. Option1: Try the free version of driver fusion, then launch the usb3 driver installer as administrator. Option2: System recovery to first boot in windows, then install all drivers and updates before overclocking. Option3: Formate your PC. There is more options, but I highly recommend doing the third one since it's a new build and it's sad when there already issues.
  14. They are all good motherboard, but the Asus-ar is mATX. Pick the one that you like since theres no real differences in features/perfomances.
