  1. No, only monitoring/tweaking application I use is AIDA64, tried closing that while playing, but no succes
  2. Tried also playing Chivalry Medieval Warfare, which freezed the computer also after a good 5min of gameplay. The dynamic memory stayed at 1.8Gb so I dont think that was the cause..
  3. I have been only using stock clocks, and no, I dont have any other PC to test GPUs.. I might have find the cause for the dynamic memory built-up, I played BF4 metro using directx mode and saw that the memory climb stopped somewhere around 5Gt, and then when I tried mantle again it built up until game crashed and windows told that there was not enough memory. This might be some AMD Mantles bug on crossfire configurations. The computer crashed black screen in the directx mode too after a while so I really dont know what is wrong here.... ://
  4. Tried 1600 with no succes, also memtest didnt find anything..
  5. Hey guys, Yes I tried Metro 2033 and it freezes computer too. But I have maybe found one cause for the freezing: I put monitoring on a value called GPU1 Dynamic Memory from AIDA64 trough my G15's LCD display, and I saw that this value starts climbing up, speed depending on the graphic settings, and once it reaches something over 8Gb the lock up happens. So question is does anyone know should this memory value climb normally like that or should it really just take some space that it needs and stay about there?..
  6. Hello, So I switched the card slots and the same freezing still continues.. I ran some tests with just this GPU also and it seemed to work fine...
  7. Yes whole system locks up, I have been using the default 1.65V for this memory a long time, this freezing thingy started when I installed the second 290X on the system so it should be something to do with the crossfire..
  8. Hey, I played the test range about 5min until it freezed again, the memory didnt seem to leak the used space stayed at abot 6,3 Gt and Reserved Space stopped at 12Gt. I also forgot to mention that after I do the hard boot using the reset button the windows bluescreens at the loading screen telling something like: System_thread_exeption_not_handled(atikmdag.sys) I have to boot couple of times again and go visit the windows restoration screen until I get to login again. If I do the reset from the power button and let it shut down for couple seconds I usually get to login immediatly. And for the Lays post the CPU temp is about 2C hotter than the cards about 65, the FX-9590 heats up alot.
  9. Hello, So the title tells it, After playing games like BF4 or Metro 2033 about 5-15min the screen and the whole computer always just freezes. I Have two Powercolor 290X LCS cards with the watercooling and the temperatures on em' is about 63C when playing. I have also managed to play BF4 a little longer and then the BF4 has crashed with out of memory error.. I am using 14.7 RC1 drivers. Thanks for helps already! 10. Hello again guies, So the EKWB told me that I had installed the inlet tube on terminal wrongly, now when I put this to top left port the water goes trough the GPU Blocks and not straight trough the terminal Cooling works pretty good, the idle temps are kinda high (about 40C-50C), this is partly due the hot envrioment temps. At load seems to be like 60C-65C. I played Battlefield 4 and now I got a pretty nice performance increase: all setting maxed out, both in AMD CCC and in BF4 with 120 resolution scale, I get like 100-130FPS on mantle, when with just one GPU I had like 60-80. Im pretty satisfied at this point Thanks to alot everyone who has had the intrest to follow this thread and helped me here!
  11. Hello again, I did some notions: I put the display cable to the bottom card and I get picture but now this cards runs hot as hell too. As I touched the radiators I noticed they didnt even feel warm. And the CPU stays pretty much at normal temps so this led me to conclusion that the water flow could be somehow poor at for the cards. I now got the picture attached where you could take a look if the FC terminal is installed wrongly. I cant say, I think the picture says it should do its job the way I have put it but please take a look, or if have some better knowledge please share
  12. I havent tried re-applying waterblock since, before the adding of the another card temps at this 290X were normal. (The overheating card is the top one and its not the "new one" from Ebay).
  13. Can the bottlenecking cpu really have this kind of effects? I have also read some threads that people with this CPU or less powerful have got 290X on crossfire working.
  14. Heya, So I bought an another powercolour 290X LCS from ebay to my system to go crossfire. After installation, when I monitored the the temperatues I was shocked: Idle temp of the top card, which is the old one that I had already, was 60C and when trying to watch videos with browser, the temps climb VERY quickly to 90C and beyond until the computer shutsdown itself. I carefully tried to do little gaming and the FPS there was only like 30-40, when before with just one card it was about 70-90. Im running watercooling system with 120 radiator, 240 radiator and one 200 radiator. Im using EKWB's triple parallalel terminal with the middle slot closed with blank connector, so theres 3 PCI-E slots between them in witch one of them I have soundblaster fatal1ty champion soundcard. Pump is aquastream ultra and it seems to have enough power for good flow. The another lower GPU and CPU seems to have pretty normal temps.
