    @Mr.Meerkat I feel you on that one. A good PSU isn't cheap but I got a great deal on a HX650 on ebay, for my "new" x58 board.

    I remember how 1000Watt PSUs were around 100 pounds (gold cert, Safesonic/XFX) in 2014 but now...150 pounds for a decent quality 1000W PSU :(

    From "I will easily be able to afford this x99 upgrade" (16GB ddr4 ram, x99 motherboad and 5820k) to now "I cannot afford to put in an extra 150 for a 1000W PSU" :(
