Burn In can be a thing, it's not always a thing. I have some IE80's from Sennheiser that, when I got them, were the trashiest things I'd ever heard. They had really good bass, but anything non-EDM/Pop sounded like butthole. Literal fart quality. After a week of leaving them in a closet on a plugged in ipod mini on medium volume, I put them back into my cellphone, turned on the same playlist I tried the first day.. and holy balls, they were great. I had been using Shure SE215 LTDs, and I adored them to the point of using them over my Beyerdynamic DT880's and for some music even over my Hifi-Man HE-400's, but when I finally 'burned in' my IE80s, they went from being ready to be returned, to making me sell my SE215's to a friend. I now use those IE80's daily, not as my primary headphone because the HE400's are really hard to beat in that price range, but if I'm mobile, working out, or just taking a nap.. the IE80's are in, and being used.
 
Not going to say some burn in are irrelevant - my HE-400's were supposed to require some burn in. Horseshit, sound the same now (great!) as when I got them. Same with my DT880's, though less people say a burn in is needed on them.
 
EDIT: as for a good starting DAC/AMP, I used a FiiO E07K for awhile, loved it. FiiO tends to have popular offerings. I use a O2/ODAC now just because I found one with a RCA output on Mayflower Electronics, which serves my AudioEngine A5+'s really well.
That all being said, congrats! My first 'audiophile' headphones opened a new and expensive world to me, and while at first the difference may seem awesome.. wait until you try to go back to what you used before, and you'll have a deep revelation about how awesome it really is.

I used a 560 Ti for a year, loved it. Four of my friends had me help them pick out PC parts, and 2 of them still use the 560ti with absolutely no issue on 1080p max settings 30fps+ on MOST GAMES. There are things starting to come out that they cannot do that. But that's how GPUs age. I upgrade my GPU constantly, but most people don't. There are still people with 580's that will be perfectly fine for awhile. Yes the video RAM is getting too low so higher resolutions may not be reasonable, but that's what upgrades are for.
 
I don't understand necessarily what the BS about the 560 ti being a junk ass outdated card is, it is dated but it's not like a 9800 GT. Shit, I have a rig that still runs most games in reasonable settings with a GTS 250. It can't max any settings, and can barely handle 1080p let alone 1440p+, but again... thats... how... GPUs.. age...?

going with the 558s I'm not bass head I mean I like bass but I usually don't listen that much to music and in gaming I found it's better to have overall clean sound. Besides I have a good relationship with sennheiser from YouTube so I will probably get a good deal on them
