You're gonna have to explain to me how Win8 has more customization?
Either way, Windows 8 is not bad. I personally still prefer Windows 7 as it works just fine, I know it very well, and I know how to tweak & customize it better.
I have heavy experience with both.. So I must say.. The choice is yours.
