  1. ok... i just swapped the ram into the other slot... and it took fewer times to flip the power supply switch to get it to boot... about 3 times this time so ya its either something with ram or perhaps the motherboard slot.
  2. ok just got back from memtest...and showed no errors and yes im using uefi bios
  3. actually, that would make sence... just the other day i was using it and it out of nowhere completely restarted and the event view always shows a kernel power error... ima go run memtest now
  4. Hello, lately i have been having a weird issue with my computer... about 90% where i turn it on it boots into a limbo state. All off the fans spin up, but the power light doesnt come on and there is no picture the only solution is to flick the power supply switch and the back and keep trying till the power (which takes about 15 tries) light pops on and it boots... this started happening around the time i switched over to windows 10 on an ssd... tho that could just be coincidence parts list CPU: AMD X4 760K GPU: AMD R7 260X RAM: CRUCIAL BALLISTIX 1x8gb MOBO: MSI A78M-E35 POWSUP:CORSAIR CX 430 this is one of the weirdest problems i have ever seen on a computer... and ive seen some serious sh*t
  5. Hello, I could really use someones help on this... I have to create a program where a user can infinity enter values (so not a static array) and then when send user is done entering arrays it adds, averages, etc... the problem i cant figure out to to re-size the array on every input. also I would need this done using basic java beginner code like basic for loops. If anyone could help me, or at least point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

  8. Hello, Im trying to make a choice between the msi gaming r9 280 with 3 gb ram or the msi gtx 960 100ME with 2gb. These graphics cards are very close as far as real worlds performance from what i can see. There prices are similar only about $20-$40 apart. Note* the processor i'm planing to use an i5 4670 3.4ghz quadcore with 16gb of ddr3 ram and a corsair 600w power supply.
  9. Hey Linus, thanks for putting out so many awesome videos. If it weren't for some of your video i would have never gotten my computer going. Thanks for publishing content that has both meaning and some comedy.
  10. I would suggest you test the power supply, unplug everything from and get the 24 pin atx cable (the big one) you should see a green wire and a black wire in either side of it. Take something like a paper clip and connect the green wire to one of the black wire, then turn it on. If the fan comes on that is a good sign. If that doesnt work test the grey wire in the atx cable using a multimeter and that should read 5 volts. That wire is what actually starts the computer and is very important
  11. Ok after tons of trial and error it seems that both chipset and amd drivers are now working. But now the windows isnt filling the screen... ... I am hoping this is just a windows update thing as i am about to do the restart to update.. hope all goes well!
