  1. Not sure how's that tech news, but AFAIK, 5.5 and 5.6 brings quite a few big changes, wouldn't be surprised if it's developer's fault, not engine's.
  2. However you want. I've 2x 60HZ 1440p monitors both running through display port cables. PC should detect everything by itself, but you might need to setup the refresh rates directly in nvidia's drivers.
  3. I have a (maybe related) different bug after sleeping my 1700. Sometimes, after waking up, certailn input will corrupt my audio temporarily (splt second) e.g. scrolling the voume wheel on my k70, or spamming sniper button on G502.
  4. I am, and it is. A lot can happen in a month. However, someone here mentioned the patch wasn't stable in Feb, so they pushed it back to monthly March update, hence the month of delay, no reason to complain, nothing was shutting down UK's NHS back then after all
  5. Another uninformed alternative fact spreading. They had a patch in Feb, they built it for all platforms for private, expensive support, then they released it on all officially supported platforms to the public in March. They only released it in May on XP/other old OSes for free because of the scale of attack and type of targets, they wouldn't otherwise. I love people that shit on companies before knowing stuff...
  6. Well, my M7 is barely working now, but no headphone jack, so it's time to switch brands... any non-samsung SD835 recommendations?
  7. they need to lose that weird forced triangle accent from the case series and it'll look cool.
  8. I'm using an m7. It's getting really slow now and battery lasts less than a day when idling on wifi with whatsapp in the background, but there's nothing interesting on the market atm because of samsung hoarding 835s like a child.
  9. "In Development" The game is 5+ years old! I'm actually surprised it run as well as it does on my 3770k... CPU locked at 18ish%.
  10. Unless you play World of Tanks! The king of single-thread! 120mm shots fired!
  11. I'd usually start in main()
  12. if you think you've "learned" a programming language in a month, I have bad news for you... Anyway, try C++. It shouldn't take that long to learn at all
  13. Oh, these, no clue, my bet is on same proximity stuff found in HMDs, or some physical trigger style thing. And I've had a couple of Vives at the office for the past year too, no need to brag about it though And after another look at the article, it looks like it's got 3 states (open, half, closed), so it's not exactly a revolution.
  14. Same as current controllers by the looks of it, sensors looks exactly the same. And the button count seems same / very close as well. Looks like an ergonomics re-design, not a functional one.
  15. My mistake, I meant PS4 hardware, the console itself isn't out for that long, I give you that, It'll be maybe 3 years around the time 4.5 is released.
  16. No, this is a fully backwards-compatible, whole new console. PS4 has been out for what? 3.5? 4 years now? It's been outdated at release, it's pure trash now. It needs an upgrade, yesterday.
  17. How about just follow the ratings and research your shit like any responsible adult should... it's not fucking rocket science.
  18. Do you have some examples of the advanced stuff? C++ is essentially Java/C# with less built in "fancy" features, pointers and '->' everywhere, once you grasp that all you're left with is typical small language differences like switch statement fall-through rules etc. And regarding STL and STL-like code. learn to google it well rather than remember everything, although again, without samples, it's kinda hard to give advice.
  19. I've given you numbers, proof you're wrong, and you've started looking for anything but the topic to hang onto, and I'm the one running out of arguments? And you didn't answer my question, which probably means you never tried any of these. P.S. I don't own any console.
  20. Now, here's some factual information, just so you know basing your knowledge on stuff like requirements on a page is worthless: The Brookhaven Experiement demo keeps a 970 at about 60% of its target power, with GPU auto-underclocked to around 900Mhz, and about 50-70% of GPU usage. I know more advanced graphics require more power, what you don't understand is how VR actually looks in an HMD, how that translates to applications produced, and that just because Palmer said it needs a 970 doesn't mean all games will flat out target that, because they don't. You and @Sauron can both get your heads out of PCMR's asses and face reality (pun intended). And question to both of you: Did you have PSVR or any other headset, in its recent revision, on your head, running multiple demos to give your claim at least a hint of credibility?
