  1. Hello, Long story short, I have a docx file saved on a computer at work. I have ownership of this file and should have full control of it. I wanted to have 2 more people modifying it so I added 2 more people in security, they only have read, write, execute permissions. Now, I messed up and deleted myself in the list. So now I can not even see it. And the other two’s account can only read write, so I can’t put myself back in from their accounts. No one else has access to it. Is there anyway to restore my permission on the file without bothering admin privileges? thanks!! PS: I can’t reset the parent folder’s permission because that would require admin privileges. I’m trying to take care of it myself.
  2. Hello guys, So my system is like this Motherboard: Giga Z87X-UD3H Core i7-4770 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3-16000 PSU Corsair RM850 1 Gigabyte nVidia GTX 660 (2GB) ---> plug into 1st screen via HDMI and 2nd screen via HDMI 1 MSI AMD R9 390x (8GB) ------------> plug into 2nd screen DVI (for a dummy plug) I am using this set up to mine ethereum as well as to play game. The 390x run 24/7 mining ethereum, the 660 sometime for gaming, sometime for mining. So, mining and gaming work 100% fine, meaning drivers are okay (I guess). The problem is: I have to plug the one of the screens into the 390x via DVI, using it as a dummy. if not, MSI afterburner will not apply the OC profile to this card. I have tried checking and unchecking the "Synchronize setting for similar cards". Both don't do a thing. Please help me brothers
  3. Very good to hear that, but could you be for specific?
  4. his can be done very easily on a Laptop, but here ....
  5. Hello guys, So here is my set up: Core i7 4770 16 GB Corsair 1600 PSU Corsair 850W Integrated Intel 4600 Graphic Card (This plugged into secondary screen) Gigabyte nVidia GTX 660 2GB (This plugged into main screen) MSI AMD R9 390x 8 GB (Doesn't plug into anything, just for mining) Drivers for all 3 GPUs are all installed, and they appear to work fine with each other. So what I'm trying to do is: Scenario 1: When I am not playing game, mine with both 660 and 390x (This is working fine) Scenario 2: When I do wanna play game, play with 660 and mine with 390x (This isn't working, I mine with only 390x, hashrate does drop compare to Scenario 1, but 660 is still slow, and cant play game on it) Scenario 3: When I wanna watch Netflix, watch with Intel 4600, mine with 660 and 390x (ain't working either) I do put the applications (Game or Firefox for Netflix) on the screen plugged in with the card I wanna run, but as soon as ethminer is running, everything slows down. Is there anything else I have to do? Thanks.
  6. Hello guys, I just noticed that etherscan.io is showing my ETH Coinbase balance = 0 and absolutely no transaction despite my account having some ETH in it Some other site even say account don't exist But I have been using ETH in my Coinbase wallet for a few time, transactions seem to go fine. Help!
  7. BTW, this problem is solved. The best and cheapest way to get the best and 100% brandnew Antminers is from the manufacture itself. There are 2 ways of paying them, wiring money and transferring BTC. I recommend BTC because bank wiring from North America to China cost a lot, and they won't even receive full amount even when you already paid all the fee. Also, use UPS for shipping method so you won't get hassled my the border custom.
  8. Hello guys, I just noticed that every time I transfer some ETH to my Coinbase wallet, say 0.5 ETH, 3 minutes later, there would be an automatic transaction of about say 0.480 out of my wallet to an contract address which I don't know who that is. But then the weird thing is I don't lose this 0.480 amount in my Coinbase wallet (I still received 0.5 like nothing happened), Is this normal? and what is that all about? Thanks
  9. Hello, Yes I am already farming Ethereum, working great I have a rig of 3xR9 390x set up (although I now realize R9 390x was a horrible mistake ) I just wanna try BTC to learn, more like a hobby, haha
  10. Thanks very much for the advise. Do you know anyone who has ever try paying Bitmain by wiring money? As I said I am just starting out, and I don't have bitcoin to pay them yet. P/s: The reason I why I wanna try this out because currently I don't have to pay power bill. It's included in the rent, and the building has 18 floors with almost full tenants. 1400W of power wont be an issue.
  11. no guys, I needed to know how to get those, not opinion.
  12. Hello, I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. I want to start my rig and dig some coin (bitcoin I am talking about) I wonder what is the best way to buy brand new Antminer machines? Of course, on there website they offer the best price ever, better than Amazon and ebay. And they are the latest batch too. However they ask for some import tax number, and require customers to wire money instead of credit card or paypal. I really need some help here guys. This is the one I really wanna start with: https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201606140744014851E341twm065B
