  1. Sure, basically I download Pop OS 18.04 with proprietary NVIDIA driver, update, install Steam, load dota 2 and run the game and play. and steam in linux also have support for windows only game also. for I just wanted to play dota2 at max setting. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
  2. I am not sure about ubuntu because you have to install nvidia proprietary driver manualy. I use Pop OS 18.04 with nvidia driver preinstall.

  4. Hi Have you considered gaming in Linux? Good news in Linux it just works, mod necessary for P106-100 card and it also works for intel 3rd gen and below also.
  5. Hi Guys Good news for mining graphics card that want to game. If you are into or wanna Linux gaming you just install Pop OS with Nvidia driver pre-installed, download steam and after that everything just works with any mode at all. I test with Dell Optiplex 9010, i5-3550 and P106-100 from taobao. I got to play Dota 2 at 1080p absolute max setting around 100+ fps.

  7. Yes, you are correct. a more permanent solution would be for you to resolve this issue with the ISP directly or get a new ISP. Oh and did you check your host file?

  10. what motherboard you are using? download the driver for the storage controller and put it in the thumb drive and load during the installation.

  12. I think that is due to the Windows 10 always download updates and install it automatically in the background. Just restart let it finish update and you are good.

  19. when you create RIAD array try to make bootable. You need to look for creating a bootable RAID array or make existing RAID array bootable if such option is available. and after you created the array make sure you can see the RAID volume in the boot menu and try installing windows again. Good luck oh can you create a one drive raid array and try to install on it first to see if it work or not. if this work and the 3 drive config doesn't the and you can install this way and clone to the 3 drive array afterward. don't worry it will working fine if you install a RAID array weather 1 or 2 or 3... drive RAID array
  20. you could look for sign of dying hard drive by looking at the hard drive activity LED if it is active/on all the time that is the definite sign of hard drive dying. Swap it with a new one and you're good to go.
  21. Hi everyone I have got a problem with windows 8 on my notebook it is never happen with windows 7. the problem is VLC player volume going down randomly in the volume mixer and not everything else. any clue on how to get rid of it. Thanks in advance
  22. You have to specify the boot option BIOS mode or UEFI mode and use the installation media accordingly. and maybe there are bootable option when creating the RAID array because on some RAID controller there are such options.
  23. give StaxRip a try. I use it all the time. but it a little bit complex. if you couldn't do try TX264 instead. both program produce the same quality.
