  1. Hmm, so it seems like next month for the k95 brown in the UK, and probably from Amazon UK.
  2. Who did you end up picking? Or will you wait until Overclockers shows it in stock in hope Amazon can do it in the same time? I guess I will wait 1-2 weeks but I really don't feel like waiting longer
  3. I bought the scansure insurance, they said I bent a pin on the motherboard when I clearly didn't and I checked this thoroughly before sending it back. Because I bought this insurance (It was hardly anything) they probably decided it was best to tell me that I broke it so I wouldn't be issued a refund, but a replacement. They didn't send me any proof of the bent pins as I asked, said it was already out of the warehouse and I know for a fact I did not bend the pins. The sata ports didn't work properly. The "manager" or whatever senior basic level employee was rude too. Also the case window I got from them was scratched, they sent a new one. And the 3tb Seagate hard drive I received was faulty - it turned into a 3.5GB Drive... I got a refund on this thankfully as it was a faulty product and I couldn't get blamed for this easily. I did try everything to fix this, and I ran disk tests to check that it wasn't a partition / format error but clearly a lack of quality control + scan themselves. They also said that the pickup for the return would be between 9-5. They came at 8:30! In general I had an awful first time experience with Scan and I'm never returning. I chose them over amazon for my build initially since some parts were a tiny bit cheaper + they also delivered everything at once in one huge box. And they offer Sunday Delivery too...Amazon can also deliver together and I should've chosen them instead for my case, mobo, cpu and psu. Amazon UK > Scan every day.
  4. Waiting for Amazon UK to stock it. Their service is so so so much better and I hope to stick with them for everything in the future. They also have free returns 30 days, great delivery options to things like amazon lockers (perfect if you live close to one), and honestly the best service I've ever received from any company. If a product is fulfilled by them they cover it for 1 year. So if there is a problem you don't need to send it back to the manufacturer, you just send it back to them for free for a full refund / or they can send a replacement out next day to you. If you can wait, I'd highly recommend cancelling and switching to Amazon. Should be up within a few days! (And I'm not getting paid by Amazon, just know from experience about the excellent service). Oh and please, whatever you do. STAY AWAY from scan.co.uk!!! Never again ever ordering from Scan. I might try overclockers if Amazon don't have what I want, but they always have had it!
  5. Amazon stocked the k95 / k70 red/blue/browns before anyway. Maybe it wasn't available for you? I really hope they do stock it soon, don't know what's taking them so long!!! And I'm just going to go for Brown, better for a mix between typing/gaming. That's lucky you have an eta at least! But I'm giving them some slack, the gtx970 was just announced on Friday. The Asus one is up but it's heavily overpriced - £450... and I want the MSI one anyway for £280 which is what Scan.co.uk and overclockers have it for. And the K95 RGB was officially announced literally 1 hour ago haha.
  6. Ahhhhh they have them! I'm ordering the K95 RGB Brown ASAP when AMAZON UK stock them. Still waiting on Amazon to stock the msi gaming gtx970 too Overclockers have it on their website though http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=702&catid=2705&sortby=priceDesc&subid=1258&mfrid=10 £160 isn't that bad to be honest. Hopefully It's in my hands before Friday! Same with the GTX970, come on Amazon!! Lots of reviews will be coming today so I guess I can watch a couple on youtube later on.
  7. I'm more curious if there has been any other announcement from Corsair to confirm a release date for the K95 RGB Red to come out this month. We're getting to the end now because usually they would allow you to pre-order it like they did with the k70 rgb on amazon, and release it a week later. No leaks from any retailers or anything yet! I have a feeling it's going to be delayed. Also still so torn between cherry mx brown and red!
  8. Everything is fine now. It was the hard drive and mobo. I now have a 2tb WD one which should be more reliable. Thanks
  9. GTA 5 PC release date delay pissed me off a lot. GTA is one of the few games I play too. I hope this K95 RGB doesn't disappoint. And I'm also getting the GTX970/980 which are going to be announced in 2 days and probably released very soon. Those will hopefully be great. I just don't know what keyboard I should get now, don't want to end up having to return it.
  10. Oh wow, the reviews are looking pretty bad for the early models. And people are saying that corsair are changing nothing about the keyboards. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=132037 http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Keyboard-CH-9000063-NA/product-reviews/B00KX8OJK6/ref=dpx_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1#reviews-container?sortBy=recent&reviewerType=all_reviews&formatType=null&filterByStar=all_stars http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816022 Isn't this just awful? Do you think they will change anything and will the k95 rgb suffer from the same sort of fate? It seems like the k70 silver all over again. Also causing slow boot ups, keys aren't that bright and led's are dying and the whole thing has on a few people. I really wanted the k95 RGB and was / am planning to get it in the UK - £160 ish which is $240 (USD). I still would really like it but they seem like they've really messed up.
  11. I hope this doesn't affect the K95 Release Schedule, and that the UK gets it at the same time.
  12. So any update about the UK availability? I don't want to wait until October for my K95 RGB :'(
  13. Indeed. Only useful really for people who don't use numlock keys or play some weird mmo games, or people who use it for professional office work although they wouldn't get this keyboard. It's pretty pointless having any key customisable as a macro for the k70. They should have removed this feature if it saved a lot of production costs to make the k70 cheaper. However the k90 might take a while to come out since they haven't said too much about it's release yet! I'm still stuck between brown and red MX.
  14. I'm going with MX Red as I wanted something a little lighter. Or am I being impatient?
  15. If I get one, it will be the K95 or nothing. Unless the K70 is something like £50+ less. I would like to have the macros. Just got a logitech G502 Gaming Mouse and it's incredible. The macro keys are oh so great. I can essentially scroll between tabs on chrome, close the current tab, refresh a page, go straight to my desktop, all by just using easy to reach buttons on the mouse. And I can still go forward, back + change the dpi. There are 6 "spare" buttons but it lets you change any of the others too. Since I browse the internet a lot and have lots of tabs open, It's a fantastic mouse as I don't have to physically click to close tabs or navigate between each one by either clicking or using keyboard shortcuts. I would highly recommend the mouse, although the scroll wheel isn't that great since it's made of metal. Would have been better if it was rubber bit it still works, just sometimes your finger slips, I'm not much of a gamer. However I really enjoy GTA and I play the odd FPS game, and just a few others. Depends on how much time I have! But I'm sort of puzzled as to how useful the macros on the k95 would be haha. It's so much more convenient to have them on a mouse as great as this. And I think the K70 RGB does have an option to program macros as shortcuts. Since I have this mouse with pretty much all the macros I need. It'll be hard to assign useful ones to a keyboard. I could use Cntrl+ ones like copy, paste, print and select all. But the macro keys are far out left so it might be more convenient to just do the keystroke. The biggest argument I can think of to justify getting the K95 for me is there are 18 more keys so more lights? And don't judge me, the main reason we're all looking at this keyboard is because of the lights What other uses do you think the macro keys can have?
