Goose Legs reacted to failblox in Will Canada and the U.S. ever become one country?
No. I live in Canada and I personally think the two countries are better off being separate. Combining them would result in a huge mess because some of their laws and cultures are very different (e.g. guns and healthcare).

As much as I complain about it, I'd rather pay a bit more on shipping than live in the middle of a huge political mess.

I think that any good network admin knows that cisco routers are SHIT. The EdgeRouter has been proven to preform better than most of the top Cisco asa routers etc.

The only thing Cisco is decent at today is switches (just by sheer numbers of enterprise switches that perform great even after 10 years in deployment, I would argue that Cisco is great at switching packages)

    - Juniper is leaps ahead in almost every aspect of routing, VPNs, licenses and overall features

Pretty sure I have seen at least 50 of these threads before on the forum.

Here's my $0.02, your results will vary depending on the quality of the master recording (if the studio clips the master, or kills the dynamic range, having a lossless copy won't do you any good). Furthermore, the quality of your gear and room will matter to an extent, as well.

Disk space at this point in time is cheap. FLAC is around 250-350MB per 60 minute (ish) album, depending on the complexity and length. A 320Kbps MP3 copy of that same album is about 150MB (ish...). If you have a relatively spacious hard drive, decent audio gear, and have a choice between FLAC or MP3, to me it's a no brainer. I'll take the FLAC all day, everyday.

I have a pair of 595s (which have the leather head band and velour ear cups) and comfort wise (at least on my head) are fantastic. A few years back I let my room mate at the time borrow them whenever he wanted to listen to music and he loved them as much as I did.

Love the phrasing of that. "The gays". As if a gay person doing something you don't agree with falls entirely on the community. Really though, I couldn't give a fuck about someone's religious beliefs. I'm sick of people using a 3400 year old book to decide how they treat me. Nobody would stand for it if I refused to serve someone because of their race, why should this be any different?

Hello all! I decided I wanted to do something fun & interesting so I decided to do a dual Xeon Build! I sold my 4790K and Z97X-SOC to afford these parts, but I am very excited to go ahead with this project

    Parts ordered:
    - 2x Xeon X5660s
    - Super Micro XD8Ti
    - 16 GB Samsung ECC
    - XFX R9 295x2

    Current Part List:

    Purpose:
This build will be used by me for casual CS:GO, LoL, and Minecraft and potentially rendering in the future. As my main usage is gaming, the 4790K would be the smarter choice, but like stated above I want to do something fun! I am going to overclock the X5660s to 4.0+ GHz, which will make the gaming performance something near an i7 980. Speaking my games aren't too intense, I should be good to go!  Locked board

This build will be very ghetto, as I am putting it in an Air 540. It supports EATX, but not sure if the standoffs are in the right place for the board. I will mod it if need be.

    Stay tuned!

Thought I should mention the cooling solution will be a fun experience! The mounting for this board is very picky, so I am using two included heatsinks. I will be slapping on some nice Phanteks fans with zip ties and I will go from there

True. This is assuming the OP has good quality cabling though. I have seen some homes and offices running CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum cabling, bleh) and that does have a major detrimental affect on the quality of a connection. Even short runs are negatively affected.

Though, those locations were built/renovated by shady contractors so, I would consider those the exception. Most homes built by reputable builders will have solid core copper.
