PIA was actually recommended by the Community which is why LTT went with them. Maybe you should contact them about your issue instead of blaming unrelated reasons.

A single card is almost always better than SLI. I would go for a 1080ti and sell the 1070 after prices normalize. You could sell the 1070 and game on the 970 now, and make a little money.

I own a blackwidow. None of the switches felt the same, which was the case with the blackwidow I bought for a friend. Odd, becuase I got a few cherry knock off keyboards that are just fine, even kailh. Now it's worn down and odd to type on. 0 Key on keypad is fucked. I keep it at a station I don't use much, and every time a friend comes over and set up there, more often than not they get rid of it in favor of a different keyboard, even membrane. One thinks I'm doing it on purpose, like giving someone the 'madcatz controller'. I refuse to throw it away because the light effects are so good, so much better than other RGB keyboards. I want to replace the switches, but I've been putting it off.
I think mine was defective, but it's not my first bad experience with razer keyboards.

Alot of the current closed cans are kind of lack luster at that price range, you could go for a T50 mod like Talos from Cascadia Audio or Argon from ModHouseAudio.
if you have a decent phone they'll get up and go, but they arent the easiest things to drive.

Argon is a darker, wider sound signature and Talos is a brighter and more forward soundsig that puts detail in the front seat over tonality.

you could try an IEM, good example of a cheap godtier iem is SuperAudio 2DD+2BA

if you're between those two MSR7 are probably superior, but I'd take a t50 mod over both.
Theres alot of choices when it comes to good t50 mods now, theres also ALOT of good guides, you could maybe try making your own mod tailored to your sound preference.

The HD800 are very good, but the sound is kind of bland. At that price point you need to try and get whatever you like, everyone is going to have different opinions. If you ask me I would buy a pair of GS1000e, some people hate Grados, some others hate Zeos, and others hate both.

    Just try before buying.

So I was thinking about things they could do on channelsuper fun and what if the majority of the office sat down and had a LAN party, games like TTT in garrys mod would be awesome, and they could try out a bunch of games like Friday the 13th the game and PUBG and any other little indie games they find, it could be another channel even, games night

If you can tolerate the 6kHz peak, then get a used HD800 for $600. If it's too much to bear, do the SDR mod. HD650 KISS modded has better tonality but technicalities wise it loses out to the HD800 no contest. However, best to try out the headphones for yourself. Zeos reviews can be entertaining but I wouldn't trust him as a reliable source of information.

You can probably get around 1800-1900 for it. Advertise the 7820HK heavily as that thing can OC up to near 4.5ghz. Advertise the 1070 performs better than a 1080 Max Q overclocked.

I would imagine given the budget and the background you are talking about your parents already own a camera and might even be invested in a system. In that case, they should just get the best camera that fits their glass.

As far as your own recommendations, both the cameras you have talked about, especially the sony, are great for video, but lag behind in stills performance imo. Now, both are mirrorless systems, which begs the question of whether your parents are actually after something with the compactness of a mirrorless camera. Also, it is important whether they shoot professionally or are just very keen amateurs, since those factors do change any recommendation.

If starting from scratch,  the a7iii, should be coming shortly, since it would allow for purchase more glass if you want to go the mirrorless route.

However, my own personal opinion is that the fujifilm mirrorless system is much more complete and affordable at this point in time. The x-t20 is a nice, small great performing mirrorless camera that will cover the needs of any amteur, as enthusiastic as they may be, or professional looking for a sidearm camera of sorts.

If however, the use is going to be professional in any way, the x-t2 would be a better fit since it has 2 card slots and the ability to take a battery grip which helps with shooting.

Glass is also quite cheap, given quality and in comparison to FF glass. It depends of course on the specific use, portraiture vs. landscapes etc., but a combination of the 10-24mm f/4 OIS, 56mm f/1.2, 23mm f/2 and maybe the 16-55 f/2.8 (if for professional use) or the 18-55 f/2.8-4 for amateurs. You should be able to pick up most of this kit within that budget.

EDIT: Unless they are pros though or really really keen on photography, a $3000 investment seems quite excessive to me...

Do they work as togs or they just want a new camera system to fulfill their enjoyment of photography?  Because they can get a nice entry level to mid tier camera body, which would cost the around $500-1000, and the rest of the money can be spent on buying a good lens or two.

For example, Nikon D5### body with something like a 17-55 2.8 or Sigma 18-35 1.8  Or a Sony A6### with the 18-105 or something.  These are just an example of what they can start with.

The GH5 and A7sII are good cameras, but the bodies alone will be about 2/3 of the budget.

I got this camera about 1 month ago (Youtube video and personal photos). 2nd DSLR I have owned and enjoy it quite a lot. Only downside is it only does 30 minute videos at time, so every 30 minutes you have start recording again. However its one of the, if not the cheapest 4k cameras on the markets, but doesn't feel cheap and comes with a TON of features.

Get a 1600, use the stock cooler because it looks awesome and it can easily over clock to 1600x performance. Get an atx motherboard because micro atx will look weird in an atx case. An ssd is a necessity and get a better power supply like the EVGA g2.
