  1. Added an image with the EU prices, can't share the shopping cart for some reason.
  2. I'm helping a colleague build a computer to play games with. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dignitos/saved/gtHxGX EU PRICING: Totals to 822,29 euros. Any thoughts on my choice of parts? Seems to be the best I can get for his budget.
  3. Thank you for all answers. I will be purchasing the 850 Evo 1TB
  4. I have the oppurtunity to get my hands onto a 960 Evo 500 GB for 193 euros or a 850 Evo 1TB for 240 euros. Is the higher speed but lower capacity of the 960 Evo worth it over the lower speed but higher capacity of the 850 Evo. I already own an 840 Evo 250GB and WD Black 1TB HDD. Both these drives would be used for OS installation together with programs and games.
  5. Hi LinusTechTips, Upgrading my RAM wondering if these 2 will work together: http://www.corsair.com/en-eu/vengeance-pro-series-8gb-2-x-4gb-ddr3-dram-2133mhz-c9-memory-kit-cmy8gx3m2b2133c9r http://www.corsair.com/en-eu/vengeance-pro-series-8gb-2-x-4gb-ddr3-dram-2400mhz-c11-memory-kit-cmy8gx3m2a2400c11r Thanks in advance, I know this has been asked a million times but I just want to be sure.
  6. Hey guys, Any thoughts on this PCBuild? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fn9pCy Not sure about the motherboard and PSU choices. Thanks!
  7. Wish I had read this before I installed Windows. I installed it on the HDD... twice lol
  8. I'm reinstalling Windows and the setup program is asking me to remove drive D: which is my HDD (internal). How long must I wait after powering off the computer to disconnect it. I've heard you can damage the HDD if you disconnect it to soon. Thanks for the help in advance! Solved: It was referring to the Install USB. My HDD wasn't D: anymore after formatting it.
  9. So I currently own the Samsung Galaxy S8 and was looking into getting an Anker Powerbank. They have Powerbanks with and without quickcharging, the latter being cheaper. The S8 for some reason only has Quickcharging version 2.0 (Probably just playing safe after that Note 7 failure), if I purchase a powerbank with QC 3.0 will QC 2.0 work? Thanks for this reasonably stupid question!
  10. Wow that is a nifty way to fix an error. I've now done this and also installed all my drivers manually. Time will tell if the issue has been resolved.
  11. No I can't but explain how. But I already did a fresh reinstall and it didn't fix my problem. I'm not going to be reinstalling Windows EVERY FEW DAYS which will take me a least an hour or two because I need to backup my files, install new programs, get all my settings right WHILE MY LAPTOP IS UNDER WARRANTY. I'm looking for help here and if all I get is a stupid response from someone that can't even explain the error to me then I'll just send the laptop back because IT IS UNDER WARRANTY.
  12. Well I'm not planning to do a fresh windows install every couple of days. And the errors I am getting are not related to the MOBO according to Google. Also, I have already done a fresh install of Windows 3 weeks ago to get rid of the bloatware from Dell, the previous BSOD were before the fresh install, the OSOD is after the fresh install.
  13. I recently purchase a Dell XPS 15, in the first 2 weeks I had 2 BSOD in one day. They stopped until today, I got an Orange Screen Of Death (OSOD), which looked the same as the BSOD only the background color was orange. According to Google OSOD are related to graphics/display errors yet the so called cause of the OSOD & BSOD has been tcpip.sys or/and ntoskrnl.exe. I am really clueless on how to fix this, here are the 3 dump files. I updated all my drivers, and I do not use anti-viruses like MalwareBytes and AVG (These programs caused BSOD with the same error as me for other people). If nobody can help me I will be forced to send my laptop back to Dell for a while giving me a massive disadvantage at college since I use it nearly every lesson. Thanks for the help in advance!
