  1. Hey all, I currently have a EVGA GTX 1080 Hybrid FTW. I have two options, either sell the 1080 and get a 1080ti or purchase another 1080 for SLI. I'm a little unsure what would be recommended. Background info: running a 4k panel and an i7-5820K. Ergo bottlenecking not a concern. All this pending RTX reviews or course. Thanks!

  3. the design, the lower power consumption of the 900 series vs the 700 series and the overclocking abilities of the card (albeit hindered by nvidia).
  4. Okay I will probably put a reminder in my parts list of the $650 build that the D14 would be nice but a Hyper 212+ will do just fine and save me $50.
  5. Great, thanks for the fast comments, I saw Linus' review video of the D15 and he mentioned that the D14 was one of the leading air coolers and also saw it outperform either an NZXT Kraken series or Corsair H-series water coolers, but better safe than sorry!!
  6. I put together three potential builds, $650, $1000, and $1500, all with overclokable processors and all have the Noctua NH-D14 CPU air cooler. My question is whether or not it is safe to overclock, say a Pentium G3258 with a D14 air cooler or frankly any overclock any processor with a D14 as its cooler. Thanks in advance. P.S. Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I just want to make sure that I have my build put together properly and that I won't kill my computer when I attempt to overclock the CPUs. $650=Pentium G3258, $1000=i5 4670K, $1500=i7 4790K
