    I will be using this for school. I am going into engineering next year. I have a desktop for anything intensive, but I thought the extra ram could be be useful if I have to run any engineering software or if I'm multitasking.

    Anyone care to chime in on which is the best surface pro 3 model to get? I can get the i5 with 128gb harddrive and 4gb of ram ~$1100 or I can get the i5 with 256gb of storage and 8 gb of ram. ~$1400 Is the extra money worth it?, Will I be hindered by the 4gb or ram?

    Hey Guys, I will be studying engineering at university next year and I need a new laptop. I will be bringing my good desktop to my dorm. What I need is a nice light laptop to take notes and whatnot on. The surface pro seems perfect, I tried it at the Microsoft store downtown today and loved it. However, with windows 10 around the corner I feel like the pro 4 could be due soon. So my question is should I buy the pro 3 now, wait for the 4, or buy a different type of laptop/convertible?
