maybe asus m5a78l - m lx is too weak for stock cpu and stock speeds... and maybe because it is older chipset

yeah but this is also achieved on intel burn test, which is stressing cpu more than usual and ofcourse it will be few degrees higher than normally

I found on internet that fx4100 throttles at 71°C and core max temp 61°C. I never hit those and I will try to update BIOS and check again. If it doesn't fix issue than it is probably too hot for mine FX...

I have fx4100 and I've replaced thermal paste today and temps went to 67°C max at intel burn test with 10 passes. Core temps are around 51 to 53°C. I've read this all from HWmonitor. The question is why my 3.6 Ghz processor throttles down to 3.3Ghz when at 100% load with turbo mode disabled in BIOS. I mean it isn't even that hot for processor and it isn't reaching its thermal limits. Someone explain it to me? I'm using stock cooler and stock clocks and speeds. Room temperature is freakin 25+ °C and CPU idles at 41°C.

Hello guys. My friend recenlty got ransomware, malware or adware called Locker v4.10 and it encrypted all his .jpeg and .docx posts. I used MSE and malwarebytes but all it did is it removed trojans and adwares and malwares, but the files are still locked and encrypted. He's got full HDD of his family and friend pictures, around 10 000 pictures . . . Can you help?

when it stops lagging it plays game around 80 fps, I play 1440x900 all low...

Hi guys, I recently got COD:AW on steam and I isntalled multiplayer. But I have issues... game laggs abnormaly when it is loading MP map and when I enter the game I have screen freezes for like 1-3 minutes. After that game runs fine around 80fps. PC specs: fx4100, hd6770, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD. When it is loading map and playing online my cpu is at 80% usage, but my HDD stays at freaking 100% all the time. I think that is the issue... How can I fix it?

they don't work, speed fan doesn't affect 3pin fan.

I have this Mobo: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LM_LX/specifications/and I've connected one chassis fan onto 3 pin and it runs constantly at max speeds. Do I really need to buy fan controller to control that 3pin fan? Or is there any other trick to slow down 3pin fan, to get 5V from 12V on 3pin connector?
