  1. Can you set a custom curve in the bios?
  2. If they're forcing you to pay to fix the service that you are already paying for, then you're being played like a fiddle. I'd contact member retention and be getting a few things straight.
  3. I'm not SME, but it says on AMDs website that it does not come with a cooler. https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-9-3900x Even if it does, I would not put a stock cooler on a 3900x. Not only do I think it would do a horrible job, but if you're putting that much money into a CPU + Mobo combo, you should have the decency to drop a $90 cooler on it.
  4. What is your question? Using an AutoOC? OCing is generally safe as long as you have adequate cooling, and aren't throwing a dangerous amount of volts at something.
  5. The chipset fan is not loud at all, I have the same board. I don't believe the 3900x comes with a stock cooler, so you'd need an aftermarket cooler. I'd recommend a 240mm AIO minimum, or a DRP4 or NDH14/15
  6. Does this budget include a new monitor?
  7. Make sure you quote someone or use "@" to tag them or you may not get a reply. But I would recommend this. 9. Because Ryzen runs better on fast ram, and 3600Mhz is the sweet spot for Ryzen. It will run faster and get you increased performance.
  10. As for stock, it depends. Things are weird right now, with little supply, but a fairly high demand. You could try to contact a retailer and see what they say, but chances are like the stocking issue with most things you'll just have to wait and see what happens.
  11. I'd recommend faster ram, 3200Mhz minimum, but you can get 3600Mhz dirt cheap. Other than that it's pretty solid.
  12. Have you ever used 1440/4k for extended periods? Or had it side by side? After using my 3440x1440 for an several days looking back at a 1080p monitor, or switching my monitor back to 1080p looked different even on the windows desktop.
  13. Sorry I worded that weird, it was late. I mean what's the best way to get it to a normal res. i.e. 1920x1080p.
  14. Overall it looks decent. I would have gotten the SX8200 Pro instead, as the read/write speeds are like double. But it should kill everything regardless.
  15. It's unfortunately the Lite, and I was hoping for the regular. I'll just keep an eye out. Thanks.
  16. What are you getting at? I'm not buying a gouged model, that's why I was just asking if there's anything I can do here... And I have my life taken care of, I don't need my priorities told to me by someone else./
  17. Computers are generally, and usually best off opposite. Intake front/bottom, and exhaust rear/top. I would personally mount your rad as top exhaust, then have a fan exhaust, and other fans as intake on the front.
  18. Hey guys, so long story short I got some important photo's sent to me over Whatsapp, and they got shrinked to like 600x481 resolution. Someone suggested I use Gigapixel, and it worked phenomenally. The only issue would be since they got scaled up they're now like 1920x1241 or something weird like that. How can I scale them down? And is there an "ideal" resolution to store photos at? I am able to get them all the way to 4k it seems, and I'm just not sure if saving them at that resolution is worth the extra storage, versus just keeping them at 1080p.
  19. Hey guys, so I'm trying to pick up a Switch to surprise my SO coming up, but I'm having a hell of a time finding one. As I'm sure everyone knows, they're sold out everywhere, and going online for up to and over $600CAD. Anyways, is there anything I can do to get one? Or know when they're re-stocked, etc, etc? Or has anyone had like finding one somewhere/somehow? Thanks for any help!
  20. I'm completely aware of that. The one thing that did peak my curiosity is that is a password I use. I'm aware everything else was BS.
  21. It varies from board to board, but you have to go into your bios, and then in either OC settings, memory settings, advanced settings, etc (it varies depending on your mobo). Once there you simply enable the setting (I believe it's DOCP on Asus board, and XMP on any other brand?), and you just switch it to enable, then restart your PC. If that confuses you just hop on youtube and search how to enable XMP with your particular board, and it should solve it for you.
  22. Enable your XMP or DOCP setting in your BIOS for it to run at it's advertised speed
  23. There's so many factors: 1. Fan Curves 2. Ambient Temp 3. Case Location/Surroundings, etc.
  24. How's your opinion on the 600 and 650 for hip hop? I think we've already discussed this before TBH, but I forget.
