  1. What are you storing on it/using it for?
  2. It was the same issue. I just reinstalled windows and it's good to go.
  3. No I know that, I was just pointing out that they weren't being detected. Asides from getting/sorting through random DRAM issues, I found my Corsair USB that I've used in the patch and it worked without hitch. Must be a sort of issue with the USB I was trying to use?
  4. It looks exactly like that, only with a 8gb stick. I'm considering backing up my 3TB external drive, and trying to use that as a boot drive? EDIT: Also if it matters I can't select either of my SATA SSDs as a boot drive. They're both empty with a couple games on them.
  5. I guess to break it down I followed this pretty much exactly. https://www.cnet.com/how-to/creating-a-windows-10-boot-drive-is-really-simple-heres-how/
  6. Hey guys, So my windows/windows update is all fucked up, so I want to just do a fresh install. I'm backed up and good to go. I made a USB to an installer, but whenever I boot into my bios, it doesn't show up. I've tried both front USB headers. and one in the rear. I can access the drive fine from within windows, but it's not detected when I go into my bios to change the boot order for a fresh install.. Any reasons why/how to fix?
  7. Ok thanks. I just ran the first, restarted my PC, then ran the second, and it said it was good to go. Am I good to install/update windows now?
  8. 192.XXX.X.XX:8080/cgi-bin/ is what I'm using to manage it. When I \\IP it doesn't work when I type \\IP\share it tells me to enter my network credentials, so I put in my NAS User/Password, then I get a popup that says "WIndows cannot access 192.xxx.x.xx\share, check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network.
  9. I'm aware of that. Like I said, I already moved over media from an external USB and made a Plex server. When I right click "This PC" > Map Network Drive, there's no folder I can select. I click "Browse" > and the only option is "Network" but I can't select it at all.
  10. Hey guys, So I bought a QNAP Nas, have 1x 6TB Drive in there. I've moved my media over and got my Plex up and running. But I can't find for the life of me any tutorial or way to access my QNAP on windows, and backup select files to it before I reinstall windows.
  11. I think this is on the right track, but I'm still having issues. Once I do all that and go to restart my PC, the only option is "Update and Restart", so it just puts me in the loop again. I also can't boot to safe mode.. I ran something in cmd to enable the "F8" on startup, but it failed, and when I go to msconfig > boot, the box at the top with my OS is blank, and I can't enable "Safe boot". Also if I go to "Change advanced startup options", and click "restart now" under Advanced Startup, there's no way to get to the menu to safe boot, I can either shut down, or go to my bios, that's all.
  12. Hey all, I've had this issue for a little while. Windows has the red dot marking that there's important updates that need to be done. There's a .NET Framework, Windows 10 Update to 1909, and Security Update for Adobe Flash. However when I do the required update, it fails to update, then I have to sit there until it reverses everything. Any ideas?
  13. I'd say your temps are good. For comparison I have a Corsair H150i, and I game in low 70s, and low 80s stress testing.
  14. This is what it sounds like. IMG_3015.MOV
  15. I mean depends on the game, and I just got back to using it after being gone for a while. So all I've played is Escape from Tarkov, and I usually get around 90-100fps on 3440x1440p.
  16. I figured it out... My headphones were only plugged in 95%. I'm officially an idiot.
  17. I've tried both sounds on youtube, and in apps. It doens't seem to be set right when I click to play left ear, versus right ear/both.
  18. Damn, it's quite annoying hearing it write.
  19. Hey all, I have Sennheiser HD598s, and haven't had issues with them for the years since I bought them. I just plugged them into my setup for the first time in ~7 months, and have Stereo selected, but I can't get directional sound to work (E.G. when I play a sound in the left speaker, it comes though both equally). Any ideas getting this to work? I dont know what the issue is
  20. Hey all, I have a 6TB Seagate Ironwolf Pro in my new QNAP, but sitting on my desk I can clearly hear the disk when it's in use. Is this normal? I was hoping it would be rather quiet sitting on my desk.
