  1. That's so far out of my price range it's almost like you didn't read my post at all. I'm a believer that razer products are over priced to the max. I ended up ordering the Myo Chair as I could get about $100 off.
  2. Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new desk chair, and I think something under $300 is my goal. I also would like something more ergonomic and good for my back, as my life is pretty hard on my body to begin with. I'm currently looking at chairs from Sihoo, and Autonomous https://sihoooffice.com/collections/ergonomic-office-chair-371 https://www.autonomous.ai/office-chairs/ergonomic-computer-chair?option1572=1943&option1573=1945 Any opinions? Thanks!
  3. Interesting. I just did a fresh install and it's been running smoothly since.
  4. You should go with a cheap air cooler. I had the ML240R, which is definitely better quality and reliability than the 240L, and mine was still junk. Made lots of gurgling noises, and within 6mo my pump shit the bed. If you're not willing to drop some extra money on water, go with air 10/10 times.
  5. Enable XMP in your bios (or DOCP on Asus mobos)
  6. If you have another M.2 slot I'd also try it in there to see if the GPU is the culprit.
  7. have you installed/ran the Samsung Magician software? To see if there's any issues/updates?
  8. Hey, So my SO and I are looking into making custom mouse mats. We're using Cricut infusable ink, and it says it bonds to Polyester. We tried on a couple, link below https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07LG8XGB9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But it didn't stick at all. We tried on a Polyester shirt and it was wicked. So does anyone know any big mouse that fit my bill? Most amazon pages just say "rubber"?
  9. In that case I'd go with a 5900x. Keep in mind that going overkill for gaming just means that you don't fully utilize the potential. Especially with more workstation oriented hardware. Theoretically buying a 32c CPU doesn't mean that you're buying a crazy OP CPU that's just more than you need. It just means you're spending insane money to not use 24 cores.
  10. I have a hell of a time finding safes these days that aren't electronic. So I see that you're rich...
  11. 5800x is more than enough. I'd only really recommend anything 3900x/3950x/5900x if you're hardcore into content creation/using your rig as a workstation for work, not a hobby. Unless you just wanna blow cash that is.
  12. Hey guys, I'm curious of what the benefits from connecting my NAS to my VPN? I always use and run Express on my desktop/laptop, but have yet to connect my NAS to it. All I do is run a Plex server off my NAS, and do the odd backup locally to it via my local network. Is there a real benefit to this from a privacy and/or security standpoint?
  13. My 4800H in my G15 regularly hit 95C while gaming. Totally normal. Also if I'm not mistaken, cooling pads do virtually nothing. Just make sure it's well ventilated.
  14. I understand the budget is high, but pouring all your money into a good rig but skimping on something as crucial as a PSU is bad. It's like custom building a nice car, but putting for Fiesta breaks in it. Sure it'll work, but if you have problems, it's probably gonna be big. I'm not shopping and crunching numbers for him. I literally gave him a couple options to look into and my own 2c.
  15. I didn't check the price, but I'm suggesting he raises his PSU budget. Balling out on a 16c/32t CPU and top of the line GPU but cheaping out on a PSU is a bad idea.
  16. If you're balling so much I'd not recommend a cheap Antec PSU. Look at a good quality Corsair RM850x/RM1000i. or something like a Seasonic.
  17. Solid coolants are usually pretty horrible for your loop.
  18. Is your PC recognizing/using your GPU? Or using your intigrated gpu?
  19. Use a toothpick and take your time. It's no big deal go calm down about it for before you do it. It's slow and tedious, but it's totally do-able.
  20. I have the G15 with 4800H and 1660Ti and it performs great.
  21. Yeah I forgot to update. I had to turn my VPN off, then I could get it to show in the QFinder app, and I could map the drive from there, now I can just drag anything over through windows. Thanks!
  22. Idle temps are pretty irrelevant. What are your load temps?
  23. Side note, you should really get some cable combs for that cablemod. https://www.amazon.ca/upHere-Cable-Pieces-24-pin-8-pin/dp/B07JPJ47Q6/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=cable+combs&qid=1611789114&sr=8-5
  24. Yeah I did that a few times. Must be an issue with the USB. I found my Corsair Voyager Go, and threw it on that and it worked perfectly fine.
  25. What are you running to get those temps? I have a H150i, and P95 Small FTTs would put me damn near 80c.
