Ahhhaaa so if you choose an z87 or z97 you can increase the baseclock but if you choose an h97 chipset you can't ok.I always though it's not possible on xeon's.

[virtual high-5] the same was said only 10 years ago, except back then games and apps really were only single threaded, some of us users have moved on since then, some dev's havent, cest la vie.

As a 2nd question is the Z97 Deluxe good for gaming too or how is that looking.

Best thing would be a 1150 Intel Socket.

alternate.de have an option to ship to Switzerland, so I assume alternate.fr has one as well (depending on what language you speak, there isn't an alternate.ch)

And to answer your other question, the R1 Ultimate's front fan will obstruct the RAM slots. Only the Universal will not interfere with Dom Plats. There's only a 1-2C difference at full load between the two anyway.

not mine rig, but i built one similar on the X79 platform and was great.
the NH-D14 was better in temperatures (8° on full load), but like that picture, wanted
something different and it was fine for 24/7 mid overclocking and look gorgeous.

And when i look at the Z87 Motherboards, they look like there was really someone working on these Motherboards but when you look at the Z97 Motherboards, some of them are pain in the eyes.

Don't even worry about it.It supports up to 3300mhz memory!
You should buy a X GB of 2400mhz CL10 since they are about the same price of everyone else and the best in terms of performance and latency.
