SuperfastJellyfish reacted to EposVox in Apple serving full-screen iPhone 6s pop-up ads to App Store users on old iPhones
Well given Microsoft spams the hell out of Windows 7 & 8 users to upgrade.....

SuperfastJellyfish got a reaction from Just Monika in Arkham Knight back on sale, WB/Rocksteady recommend Windows 10 users have minimum 12GBs of RAM to play smoothly
It's q4 2015.
When Doom came out in 1993 8mb of system RAM was the recommended amount, 16mb was the most you could get for consumer computers. Big surprise, system requirements increase as time goes on.

In my opinion Blackberry and WP should have partnered up 4 or 5 years ago and sticked to the corporate thing. It would have saved both of them.

Why do people insist on highlighting their willing ignorance like this?
You said something that is wrong, and then refuse to read up on the history? Wow.

SuperfastJellyfish got a reaction from Albatross in Mini-News: Windows 10 January Build made available ahead of time - Check out the known issues
Installed it yesterday morning.
God DAMN the design inconsistencies. Everything about the design is just poorly implemented so far, and I don't care if it's a technical preview. MS won't fix it, they've done this shit since day 1 of Windows 8 and they still think it's acceptable. The whole metro -> desktop thing has been a royal fuck up. Who the hell is designing and approving this stuff? There are Windows 7 (RTM 2009, almost 5 years ago) elements EVERYWHERE and this is 1.5 iterations ahead. Apple pulled off the unification of mobile and desktop UX perfectly, and MS has shit the bed.
The notification center is a piss poor attempt at copying the OSX Yosemite one and I'm ALWAYS getting popup notifications for useless irrelevant information. This is all such basic stuff, I'm not surprised they aren't charging for it, it's amateurish trash.
Dark taskbars STILL have black title text and buttons
Look at these disgusting folder icons
Trying to change something in control panel opens a separate application called 'settings'?
Look at the disgusting coloured underlay squares with the icons
Look at the UX inconsistency
Opening this just to change network?
I can't wait to get a Macbook.

SuperfastJellyfish reacted to OlekKing in What's your Religion
You're an insult to yourself.
And of course you do not bother yourself to reply to the points i made, you just express your offense and hurt feelings as if it was an actual response to what i said.

SuperfastJellyfish reacted to OlekKing in What's your Religion
Why am I not surprised, another religious turd making claims about Science and misrepresenting it out of his own ignorance. Talking shit about Science when you can't even grasp basic English grammar. After all that, you go on to say that the stories you believe in is JUST AS POSSIBLE. Just as possible...
You're deplorable. You'd probably embarrass a lot of damn Christians. I know you would, i know some who would just laugh in your face after what you've said.
There is something particularly disgusting about a religious person who does not understand the Science he speaks about and ends up misrepresenting, then claims that the old anecdotes from a book that he believes in is just as good as all of the knowledge we've gathered from and work we've put into Cosmology, Astrophysics, Physics and Quantum Mechanics. That's a real spit in my face and all of the other people who have dedicated their lives into all of this research and scientific work, people trying to get real knowledge instead of contenting themselves with a book of fiction written over 1000 years ago.
Save yourself from your own ignorance instead.

SuperfastJellyfish got a reaction from dalekphalm in Charlie Hebdo will publish one million copies next week with help from Google-backed fund
From Reddit:
Google was ordered by a court to deposit this amount on France's Digital Press Fund. That Fund decided to spend this on Charlie Hebdo. Google is NOT giving U$ 300.000 to Charlie Hebdo any more than someone sentenced to pay a fine is giving to the homeless via public shelters. Also: This isn't actually Google doing it. Another source makes it more clear: Google does not control The Digital Innovation Press Fund (known in French as Fonds pour l'Innovation Numérique de la Press) but has a seat on its board. They were required to give money to that fund as part of some settlement. -

In before Acer or Asus comes out with a laptop after this is announced with the exact same features, but with a plastic body, shit trackpad, shit keyboard, worse battery life and overall half-assed execution for $600, and people like you still don't understand why sometimes better products cost more.

SuperfastJellyfish got a reaction from HippY in Apple releases cheaper iMac
Maybe for you. Regular consumers (read: people who buy iMacs) want a literal 'all in one', no fuss package. Mouse, keyboard, computer, hardly any cables. They have no interest in hardware upgrades, gaming, anything beyond word processing and Facebook. All the iMac's in households I've seen in my life (quite a lot), are sat on a desk near the kitchen and gets used by the mother and kids of the family. They don't care about spec:price, it just needs to get the job done. $1200 for a computer that lasts them 5 years? Get real, that's only $240 a year for a more than adequate computer, $20 a month. Nothing really.
Get over yourself. This forum is really only populated with the /entitled generation/. A product doesn't fit my specific needs and I can't afford it? It's shit.

@4:05 ...
but you don't actually need it, as allmost all mac keyboards have dedicated shortcuts on F1 and F2 for brightness.
@4:15
wait, what? both mouse gestures and keyboard shortcuts for mission control are in 'mission control'?!
the keyboard shortcuts just also show up in the general keyboard shortcuts. I would be kinda idiotic if it weren't so ?!
@4:26
no you don't need a 3rd party plugin. you just use a different browser. or do you use Internet Explorer in Windows?
@5:40
sort by is NOT system wide. Not at all!
@5:52
no root directory for each drive? comon linus ... how long did you use the iMac really? 1 hour?
@6:05
no force refresh? why would I need a force refresh? when didn't a file popup the second you move it to a folder?
If I copy stuff on my linux server with my notebook it shows up right the second the copy is done?!
@6:15
Finder wide? ... nope actaully you can change the settings for each folder. you can (if you wish) set it finder wide.
@6:22
no cut and paste? yeah right, no cut and paste, put move!
just press cmd+c (copy) and cmd+alt+v (move). BOOOOOM!
you don't want to use shortcuts?
just open a new Finder Tab or window. this is my prefered way to move files anyway.
@6:34
because 4 options aren't sufficient to get to the superfolder?
when would you need a superfolder anyway that isn't reachable by the back button, when you don't even know about the file system structure?
funny how you corrected it for windows ...
@6:55
cause you have to use iPhoto to import pictures to your pc .... (no you don't)
iPhoto is an image organizer. You use iPhoto do NOT deal with separate folders.
@7:15
maximize is available as well.
But I will never get, why someone wants their browser to display content between two white walls.
or black walls:
@7:30
F3 (mission control) + mosueclick must be really hard to use for a windows die hard ...
@9:30
middle click to mouse scroll costs money?
funny how it just use it everyday without installing anything extra.
@10:40
actually the imac has two microphones

Mmm, no. False analogy. I'd like to see those here who praise FLAC for its real-world qualities pass an ABX test.
