  1. Ended up getting my hands on a 960 instead with 2GB of VRAM, and I'm very pleased with it. Coming from running GTAV on lowest in a much reduced window size, I can now max the texture quality with everything else on normal running my full resolution of 1920x1200, with any other game I've thrown at it having MUCH better performance. A huge jump for someone like me I haven't really toyed around with the settings with the card itself yet, but I'm fairly happy with what I've got so far, again, thanks a lot for your guys input
  2. Thanks a lot for the information guys, lots of help and suggestions I think I'm going to try and get my hands on a 280, seems like something I'd like, I'll reply if I need any more help, again, thanks a lot
  3. Looked at a quick review between the 960 and the 280, and the 280 seems to have a significantly higher power draw. Should I still have enough power to account for that with the supply I have now?
  4. I'd rather keep it around $200 Canadian, but I can probably go up to $300
  5. And yes, there does seem to be another free 6 pin connector in the case
  6. Opened her up, and it says max. continuous with 500 watts, assuming that's how much I have to work with. Any suggestions from there? Thanks for your input so far by the way
  7. Hey guys, never really used this forum before, but I finally have a good reason to. I'm planning to replace the graphics card in my prebuilt ASUS M51BC. It came stock with an AMD-FX 8300 8-core and an NVIDIA GTX 650. I've been considering upgrading to a GTX 760, but since I've never really opened my computer up before, I don't know what to do or what to expect. I'm not sure if the power supply will handle it, if the motherboard is supported, and I'm also confused on all the different models listed here on NVIDIA's website: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-760/buy-gpu Thanks to anyone who can give me a head start here, or even recommendations toward another card
  8. I like the logo and the clean metal finish, looks amazing
