  1. Looks like a cool PROJECTor, small enough to easily fit in a BACKPACK. Good stuff guys.
  2. What makes me interested is obviously "Dat Form Factor, yo!", I mean come on, a nice little computer in a box that you can hide away where ever you want!
  3. Love that keyboard because of the overall stealth look and the appealing silk screened keycaps.

  5. I have a little system (AMD A6-5400K CPU - MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 MOBO - 8GB DDR3 1600MHz G.Skill Ripjaws RAM - Thermaltake TR2 430W PSU - 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD - Windows 7 64bit) I tossed together for my mother earlier last year that freezes at the Windows logo screen no matter what I do after a power surge yesterday. I originally thought it was just a hard drive issue and have gone through the processes of trying to access Windows Startup Recovery tools, I've tried booting into safe mode, I've tried the Windows install disc and a recovery disc, I've tried using Hiren's Boot CD on recommendation from an article on a different website. I eventually decided to try a completely different hard drive and was met with the same issue, freezes on windows logo/can't boot into safe mode etc., I even hooked up her hard drive to my computer and it booted just fine, ran chkdsk just to make sure everything was kosher and it seems there are no issues with the hard drive itself. So I started narrowing it down by running memtest86 off of Hiren's Boot CD, it went through a full pass without any errors reported and I tested the memory out of my system just to make sure, still the same issue so I decided to try a different power supply. At this point I noticed that certain connectors on her power supply were charred, the cable sleeving on the SATA harness has even cracked and exposed discolored cables underneath and a SATA connector has melted, I thought the power supply was at fault here so I tried one of my spare power supplies to see if the system would boot, however despite the obvious damage to the power supply the computer shows the same issue which means to me that the problem is either the motherboard or the CPU. I do not have a spare FM2 motherboard or FM2 CPU to see which one is the real culprit, but I think there may be something that I'm missing. To be completely honest I've pretty much accepted the fact that I'll probably have to RMA or buy a new motherboard, power supply and possibly CPU, but I was hoping that some of you fine gents might be able to tell me some 12th Level Computer Ninja technique to completely narrow down if it's the motherboard or the CPU at this point, or at the very least offer some advice on if this is even covered under the respective warranties if anyone has any similar experience. I'm honestly quite lost on where to go from here.
  6. If I had to pick something specifically about the laptop, I'd probably have to say the IPS Panel, but let's be honest here, the real amazing feature of that particular laptop is those signatures. I remember Qain talking about wanting to do something like this in an episode of The Tek, didn't know there were actual plans to pull it off though, it sounds pretty neat.
  7. The LG flavor of Android seems like it would be very interesting to toy around with, but I think my favorite feature is the move from side buttons to the back buttons. It is sad that they opted for the rear mounted speaker though, was hoping HTC would be able to break everyone out of that habit.
  8. Not just a-one or a-two, not even a-three, but a-four! ah-ah-ah-ah-ah
  9. Wow, that Steiger Dynamics rig looks ridiculous....ly awesome! https://www.facebook.com/scline.everrest/posts/10151459335292409 https://twitter.com/SclineEverrest/status/340762002320408577 Looking forward to your Computex footage!
  10. Might as well give it a shot, would be a nice upgrade from my Athlon II.
