  1. Reset the CMOS, and tried the barebone method.
  2. Hey man, got hold of a motherboard speaker, and literally nothing happened, no sound or anything. Try it both ways round and I've made sure it was going in the right header. Any ideas?
  3. Strange, thanks for the advice lol, I'm just curious why it stopped in the first place ?
  4. thanks for help again, ill go to pc world tomorrow
  5. I'll ask my friends if they have one. Thanks for the help.
  6. I don't sadly. Motherboard itself has yellow light underneath the IO, but i'm not sure if that's the same thing that you're looking for.
  7. Specs: RYZEN 3600 Gigabyte B450M DS3H Patriot Viper 4 Blackout 16GB (2x8GB) ADATA Ultimate SU650 960GB Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 8GB Corsair TXM Gold 650 W Windows 10 64 Bit Hi, so i've built this PC for my gf, and after 5 days of using it trouble free it black screened. Since then we've been unable to get the PC working. We can turn the PC on, however it won't output a display (can't even get into the bios). When the PC is turned on all the lights and fans are on : (CPU Fan, Case fan, GPU fan, motherboard light). As well as this once the PC is turned on, it's impossible to turn it off via the power button (or reset it), having tried holding down the power button for >10s. The only way i can turn it off once it is turned on is via the power supply. Things I've tried so far: I've tried to use different monitors. I've tried using both the HDMI and display prt cable from the GPU. I've tried re plugging the GPU and PSU power cable. I've check that both CPU 8 pin and MB 24 pin are secure I've tried reseating the ram. Using only 1 ram stick. I've taken my Graphics card which is an old AMD MSI R9 390 and put it into this system and have the same problem. I'm honestly out of ideas :-(. If anyone could help it would be amazing. I'll try and be as clear and concise as possible. Thanks
  8. So I decided to upgrade my shitty system by replacing it's stock intel cooler with a H55 cuz marginal gains and the ability to overclock. On Corsair website it says that the cooler is compatible with the case. However at the moment I don't see any other way except by modifying the case with tools I don't have, the top rail is in the way of the water block. Is there any way to install it. Putting pictures in for context However they are pretty shit. Thanks
  9. yeah my card does support ULPS, have no idea how to manually create a cache folder.
  10. Hi guys, I've just got a new GPU, i jut started playing the new wolfstein game expecting my PC to handle it pretty well (r9 390 i5 4690k 8gb of ram). However when playing the game it keeps freezing and dropping frames, in game and in the cut scenes and i have no idea why! So, i went on to afterburner to check if my card was struggling and it seems to be on as if it was idle, sitting around 300mhz with a temperature of 40 degrees. Is there any setting i have not turned on or something because im pretty sure my rig should be able to handle this game at 1080p. Any advice?
  11. Hi, I am looking for a good graphics card for my PC I have around a £250 budget. The games i am hoping to play with this card are League of legends, CS:GO, GTA V and Fallout 4 (when it comes out). I've looked at these cards and they look very similar in every aspect, price and performance. I would like advice on which one to buy. I've found two cards and there price. I would also like a card which is easy to manage, with drivers etc. Also atm my current rig has an i5 4690k, 8gb of ram and 750w PSU.
