a 960 isn't really a worthwhile upgrade from a 760 IMHO. Go with a 290 for around $270

I'd just get an R9 290, it'll literally kill anything at 1080p

If you are gaming only get an i3 , better upgrade path and better performance.

On intel hashwell cpus (locked) the fsb oc is like 200 mhz max i think.

Anyone here in the forums can tell that in that test scenario that game was completly gpu bound.

Cause you are experiencing a major CPU bottleneck and this is why people tell you to go to Intel for gaming.

Stalker are great games. Call of Pripyat needs 8GB ram to play smoothly though so just a heads up for people.

Get the i3 4360 , its the highest end i3 cpu and for dota its a must have.

A friend of mine has a 8320 and it runs dota like crap.

Whats your budget and usage.
 
The fx 8320 is a bad cpu for anything else than productivity on a budget.

If you want the most efficiency from a power supply, then you'll want one whose capacity is ~20% at idle and ~50%-70% at load. Without getting too technical, a good 620W will do you good.

I was massively underwhelmed and disappointed by the Beta. Even if it's not subscription based, it's not a good game IMO. 

Depends on the games you play, if you like to play brand new triple AAA games at ultra settings 1080p  this card is a big no no.
 
The card for that situation will always be the 280 or 280x .
 
If you care only about performance like myself( coudlnt give two craps about power consumption) this inst the card for you.
 
The 960 costs as much as a 280x here where i live which is silly .

I have been saying this on the forums for a while , the 960 is pointless since the 280 is cheaper and better and the 280x is like 30 bucks more.

Here a used 280x costs 160 euros , and that what im going to upgrade to.
 
If you get a 960 you have to put the filters at low and textures at medium or you will hit a brick wall on VRAM , with the 280/280x
you dont have that problem.

Just by a GPU made for running games.

Why ? because of the lack of memory and pathetic 128 bit bus and the overpriced nature. Wait for the new AMD cards down the road or just go with a 970. The 960 is another failed before it even started overpriced POS from nvidia. 

Ikr? I paid $565 for my GTX 970, and in the US you can be the GTX 980 for the same price or less. Even with the exchange rate, we get screwed over in everything from overseas (we aren't Brazil though, so that's a plus, their import taxes are insane)
