  1. Hi everyone. I am currently running an i7 8700k, 32GB ram, GTX1080, running games at 1440p, ideally 144hz when i can. I am looking at upgrading the current build with an 6700xt ($599AUD). Is this current build going to utilize this card, or is it too old, and should I do a full build? Thank you!
  2. Is this in the gforce experience settings?
  3. I thought as much too. I was expecting much higher FPS.
  4. There was no screen tearing at all. I will give other resolutions a crack. It was just native
  5. Thanks, I will give this is a look at tonight.
  6. Hi, I have purchased a MSI Gaming 1080. I was going to upgrade my monitor now that I can finally drive something more than 1080p @ 60fps. After installing the card, and running Battlefield 1 @ ultra, i was hovering around 70-80fps. My question is, given that I am not driving much above 60 fps, will a higher hz monitor matter, and will increasing my resolution to 1440p actually put me back into 60 fps territory? I am running a i7 4970k (stock at 4.0ghz) but that doesn't seem to be a bottleneck at all. Happy to hear any thoughts, comments and suggestions. Thanks!
  7. If I only want to game on single monitor 1080p, is the 970 still a decent card? Will the memory issue effect this particular set up?
  8. Thank you for making reviews fun to watch again. It's been a long time since review videos have interested me. PS. Nachos. Always Nachos.
  9. He will be fine, you're right. Just listing a disadvantage as the OP asked, that's all. It will perform great
  10. The power consumption will be drastically increased.
  11. I would remove the CPU block and paste. Reapply thermal paste, and re-seat the CPU block. Run prime again. If that fails, check that the orientation of the fans are correct for the config (push or pull).
  12. The Vapor / Toxic 280x run's quite cool. I would recommend the Tri-X sapphires if you can get them at the same price point as the 770. 1Gb extra VRAM will also come in handy.
  13. This is for the user asking which headphones, I was mentioning that those particular phones sound better with an amp. No need for clueless name calling.
